Lon Smith Roofing did a great job installing our new roof last month. We are very pleased with the result. We very much appreciate the company’s professional service and especially our salesperson, Alan Kinnaird, who was easy to work with, professional and came by to see that we were pleased with the way things were going.

Lon Smith roofing replaced my roof after the spring hail storm. My roof looks great and I obtained an upgraded shingle on promotion, which I was going to do anyway. Salesman was informative and patient. The crew was prompt and courteous. The office a little difficult to communicate with but all in all, a good experience.

Exceptional work. Crew completed work in approximately 6 hours. Supervisor on-site discussed scope of work and answered questions.

Lon Smith did a great job re-roofing our house. The salesman/estimator did a thorough evaluation and explained everything in detail. The insurance company said the damage to our roof did not warrant a full replacement, so Lon Smith was able to find and obtain the exact same shingles that were used when the roof was replaced several years ago, to help ensure that the new portions would blend with the old as much as possible. The crew was courteous and efficient and completed the job without any accidental damage to our property. They did a thorough job of cleaning up afterward. I would recommend this company to anyone in the DFW area who is needing roofing work.

We had our roof replaced with Lon Smith Roofing. They were helpful with our insurance negotiations. Their workers were prompt and skilled, and they cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with our experience and new roof.

I called Lon Smith to come out and look at my roof after a hail storm damaged many of the houses in my neighborhood. Lon Smith was quick to respond, easy to schedule and professional every step of the way ensuring my concerns were answered before moving forward. Once Lon Smith determined the roof sustained damage they worked directly with my insurance company making it extremely easy for me to sit back and be as involved as I wanted to be which was a big plus for me. They kept an open line of communication to explain when the material would be delivered, when the crew would begin their work and who would be dealing with me directly as the roof was being repaired. The project manager was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what the roofing crew should be doing and what he was going to look for once they completed the job to ensure a quality job was done. I couldn't be happier with the experience I had with using this company to complete my roofing needs and encourage anybody in the market to call Lon Smith as you won't be sorry you did.

After a long wait, which was understandable due to the volume of damaged houses in the area, we had our roof replaced by Lon Smith. Prior to signing a contract we were told that Lon Smith’s crew would perform the work in a safe an professional manner (i.e. cover/protect landscaping, pickup nails after completion, etc.), but that's not exactly what happened.

> No steps were taken to protect the landscaping.
> The crews accumulated so much non-roofing related trash (plastic bottles, fast food packaging, etc.) during their work that it started blowing into the neighbor's yards.
> They bent up the gutter screens.
> They threw material off the roof and punctured my trash can and tore a hole in my grill cover.
> They unscrewed the satellite dish and let it hang by the cable off the side of the house for a day or two….didn’t work after that.
> While they did drag a magnet thru the yard (literally) it has been fairly easy for my 2 year old to find lots of nails lying around.
> They forgot to replace the roof on my shed… which was a line item in the contract
> They forgot to replace the metal sheeting for the weather vane… which was a line item in the contract
> They sent me a final invoice prior to work being completed and inspected.

They came back and replaced the roof on the shed a week later and fixed the gutters and weather vane. We are satisfied with the quality of the roof but it was a bit frustrating getting to the point of completion.

I was very impressed with the work and professionalism of your team. Charles Hill was our salesman, and he was very thorough in helping us with the new roof. We had a lot of questions, and he took the time to explain everything to us. He even met with our insurance companies adjuster and established a great rapport from the beginning. All the work was done quickly and professionally, and your inspector Rodney Mundt was friendly and helped us resolve an outstanding issue we had with an area of our roof. I highly recommend Lon Smith!

Wow! Where do you start explaining Lon Smith Roofing and their abilities!? They sent a saleman(Paul Stewart) to help us in choosing the right colors and materials for our home. He walked the top of the house and took photos. He explained that he would return when the insurance agent came out to inspect. And he did. He told us how the office would help with behind the scene with the insurance paperwork. We signed and got a date for Sept 2016. They send a rep to help set up the crew a few days before. Then a crew showed up, They protected the yard and patio. They were very pleased that in the late summer heat to find my home totally in the shade. And the roof is a very simple to do. All went so well and quiet. My dog hardly noticed the strangers on his property! Then when they picked up and later, I never knew the time. A rep came back out and checked over everything. Now the office gals get busy getting paperwork faxed to insurance offices for the release of that money. I will have all done and paid by the end of this month. My family has also know the company as customers when 46 years ago we owned the Snell Florist on Seminary Drive. They were very good to us and we told many of our customers to use them. One other house roof comes to mind they did is 5108 Chaperito Trail Arlington. Twice 1995 and 2011 or 2012? Way to go after all this years!! Lon Smith!!!

We used Lon Smith Roofing 10/2016 to replace our roof. They were professional and did a great job. We would definitely use them again.

first of all chase was our appraisal man. nice honest and did not try to over sell . i pick him from 3 different roofers. 1 even wanted to charge me 1000$ less .... i m glad i did no go for cheap . but good companies . the roof look great , our inspector Mr. Angel was super overall everyone was a professional !
