For almost 20 years we had problems with water in our basement whenever it rained. Our basement was our bedroom, bathroom and utility room, and after living there for 5 years we were tired of fighting the water and moved our bedroom upstairs to a smaller room, while we continued to fight the water. In October 2014 we finally decided to do something about it, and called Ever Dry. We wished we had done it many years ago. The crew that came was wonderful and worked very hard to get everything done outside the house as well as inside the house. We waited a year and kept our fingers crossed through all the rain. We had NO problems at all and NO water in the basement. We are now in the process of remodeling our downstairs so we can have our bedroom, bathroom and now a walk in closet without fear of things being ruined by water. D&J H, Piqua

I have lived in my home all but nine years of my life. I am now a senior citizen. Seven years ago I chose to have Everdry Waterproofing install their system in my home. This decision was due partly because of my husband’s health thinking the damp and moldy basement might be the cause of some of his health problems. The other reason was because I was tired of the never ending sweeping away of the water leakage through my concrete block foundation. I have never regretted that decision. I never give rain a thought as it relates to my basement since there has never been another drop of water seepage in my basement. I have only needed two service calls in these seven years. After 16 years putting up with a wet basement and vacuuming up hundreds of gallons of rain water, I called Everdry. A very polite and knowledgeable representative came to my house and evaluated my problems and suggested the proper methods to solve my basement water problems.

The work was scheduled and within a couple weeks the Everdry crew came and in 3 days completed their work both inside and outside of the house. The crew cleaned up well both inside and outside the house. Now I have had for the past 10 years a wonderfully dry basement.

I have had a couple of minor repairs done during this time. [ sump pump repair] for example and Everdry has been prompt to come and fix the problem. [No cost to me.]

I only wish I had had this done 15 years earlier. Everdry knows what they are doing. They fixed my basement water problems. Thank you Everdry.

We had terrible water issues in our basement. We had water coming in the walls, window, floor, bubbling paint and deteriorating exterior cinderblock. The floor was so bad that the support post in the basement rusted and literally fell over. Of course we fixed that immediately but knew that we HAD to do something about all the water. Everdry came out and the salesman had some great ideas of how to permanently fix the problems and we signed that night. This was in April and they started work in May 2015. We were told it would be about 5 days because they were doing the outside as well as busting up the basement perimeter and putting in new drain tile. We actually had some rain the first day so they had to stop work outside. We were told that they would dig down a MINUMUM of 18 inches up to 3 ft. below grade. We noticed that they had actually only dug down about 4 inches in some places to about 18 in others. One area that was in front of a window well was actually higher than the window sill when he put the gravel and drain tile in!! REALLY?? The foreman even tried to defend the crappy work until I told him the his supervisor was on his way.....then he all of the sudden started digging! Hummm..... Thank God that we had the rain or they would have had everything covered up and we would not have known what a crappy job this team was doing! I call the store and they sent out the supervisor of the foremen and he made them dig it all back up and do it right! The inside looked great when they were done with the exception of the incredible amount of dirt, dust and gravel left and the dust covered absolutely everything in the basement. I had seen them put up plastic to shield our belongings and contain the dust but for whatever reason, it was not up long at all. We have had them back out four times so far for various reasons, i.e., water in a few low spots, cementing our AC condensation pipe into the gravel and clogging it, sealing up the exterior porches, etc. Every time we have had to call, they do send someone out and they are always very nice, the problem is that they schedule someone to come and assess what needs to be done first (time off work for me) only to then schedule the work to be done WEEKS later (more time off from work). We are now into September and are just now able to start the HUGE cleanup process and move things back to reclaim our basement. I think the concept of the fix they have for our needs is great, however I think that the foreman and his crew were trying to get done as fast as possible (2.5 days) instead of taking their time to do it right the first time. That alone would have eliminated ALL of the callbacks we have do to date. Would I recommend them???? Yes, I would but make SURE someone is home to oversee the work, so you get what you were told you would get for your money because this is NOT cheap by any means!! Note: We had a good rain a few weeks back and the system worked exactly as it was intended. We had ZERO water in the basement! YEAY! I have only given 3 stars one for the LONG process to get things fixed on callbacks and also to wait and see how well it works when we get the drenching rains and snow melting. I will update!
