Hello again Everdry! M...

Hello again Everdry! My husband just requested that I get on the computer and look up Everdry to look at a couple walls in our basement. While I was looking them up,I noticed that a few people were putting comments on here and thought I would add my two cents.about 9 or 10 years ago,we paid Everdry around $9,800 to fix several cracks and stop water from coming up through cracks in our floor,I found them to be very knowledgeable and informative,I'll tell ya,I've never seen a group of workers that worked so hard in my life! they dug (by hand) all the way around the outside and inside of our house to repair it and they installed a drain system that protects the walls and the floor! Imagine my shock when about a week after the job was done,we had a big storm,I was so confident and excited to go down and take a look and found water on one wall and on the floor in the same area! I was quite surprised to find this, and very angry that my huge investment might have been in vain. I marched upstairs and called the Everdry people to give them what for! To my surprise, the production manager's reply was stay calm,I'm on my way& this was music to my ears. Well,as it turns out, their system never failed at all, We actually discovered that our children had broken a window, and forgot to tell mom dad! So,if you use your imagination, you might guess where the water poured in. The nice part, all of the areas that we would normally find water were completely dry. Anyway,I thought maybe it was my turn to get what for from the manager, but no,instead,he proceeded to remove the window,I tried to tell him that my husband could take care of that.he insisted on repairing it and he even paid for the new glass. Now that's customer service! I made him promise to use our name if ever they needed a reference. They went way above my expectations and way above their call of duty.I would refer Everdry to anyone,in fact,I just did...us! We have them coming out next Weds. to inspect our new house and quite frankly,we already plan to get this work done, again!

I called the Everdry in Wyomin...

I called the Everdry in Wyoming,Mi.and 3 other companies to look at a water & mold issue I had at my home in Kentwood about 4-5 years ago,To be honest, sitting and listening to all of the different opinions of how to handle my problem, the wide range of pricing, and the competitive nature of some companies that do this kind of work was a "new" homeowner's nightmare! The thing that stood out to me with Everdry, was that they did not just throw a one size fits all "fix" at my wife and I.They actually took the time (almost an hour and 45 mins.in fact) to explain not only what was going wrong, but "why" basements actually develop these problems.I really felt like they cared and were there to help my family, not just make a sale. Long story short, here we are almost 5 years later, and other than one pump change, which was covered under their warranty,I have not had any water or mold issues to speak of.I also used to run a dehumidifier due to moist musty stinky air,They installed their ezbreath ventilater and no more smelly air,and my electrical expenses are much less too! I would, and have recommended Everdry to anyone having similar basement troubles. We are extremely happy we chose Everdry!

I met the owner (Rob) at a golf show in Grand Rapids a couple weeks ago,I was telling him how pleased we were with our basement now,He asked if I would consider getting online to share my praises,Well, with everything they've done for us,I'm happy to do it! Thanks Again Everdry!

We would have water in our bas...

We would have water in our basement after each heavy rain. Then we would have to run the dehumidifier for a long time to get the water and musty spell out of the basement. After dealing with this problem for a number of years, we decided to have the basement waterproofed. We hired EverDry of Greater Grand Rapids to handle the job. The workers were efficient, knowledgable and explained the process and answered our questions. The process took a few days and the workers cleaned up the area when they were finished. The basement does not get wet anymore. I would recomment EverDry of Greater Grand Rapids to my friends or family if they needed to have their basement waterproofed.

The sump pump goes on, the sum...

The sump pump goes on, the sump pump goes off! Just another note of thanks to our Grand Rapids, MI Everdry Waterproofing folks! Seven years ago we had recurring water problems in our finished basement following heavy rains. After examining the whys (the analysis) of the problem, we hired Everdry to deal with, permanently, those water challenges that caused us grief and repeated cleanups. Work was completed in three days. Everdry team members were courteous, hard working and totally dedicated to making sure that we, as customers, were then and continue to be satisfied with their work. They were minimally intrusive during construction and cleaned up after themselves each day. There’s no question in our minds that when we go to sell our house, their solution, along with the E-Z Breathe ventilation system, will give added value to a possible sale.

The worst company ever the onl...

The worst company ever the only thing they got going for them is their salesmen. Bought the system cost over 12,000 dollars. After their first day on the job I came home to my water being reddish brown for over a day everdry denied they did anything wrong but had a jack hammer by my water lines. The craftsmanship of the job sucks looks like a 5 year old was working on my house. A week after the job was done I had raw sewage coming out of my toilets all over my house. U are prolly thinking what does this have to do with them. After getting a plumber out late at night he found clear plastic in out sewer line the same plastic everdry uses on the job. Of course they denied it was from them. Everdry had one of their workers come out by the name of sean the only reasonable worker there to take up concrete by our wall where the blockage was. Well guess what everdry had put over 2 holes in our sewer line bigger than a silver dollar and tried to cover it up by shoving plastic in the holes. That was in august of 2011, here we are in january of 2012 with my house still having warped wood floors and damage. Their insurance company is a joke we have apprx 20,000 dollars worth of damage and they could care less. I will not ever reccomend this company to any one what a waste of time and money.

Worst Customer Service EVER

I had a small seepage problem in my foundation that I called a few companies about to set up and estimate and Everdry was the first to come out. Unfortunately.... I had to deal with Everdry first, the rep that came out and gave me my estimate was very rude from the moment he walked in my home. A couple of days before he came over me and my wife just washed our carpeting and we always take our shoes off when we walk up stair. He did not remove his shoes when I asked and he put stain in my carpet, he then asked were my wife was because she had to be present for the estimate. I informed him that my wife was taking a nap and I would be handling it. I then stated that maybe we could reschedule the appointment for when my wife would be able to be present for estimate. After a 4 minute argument, I told him that I was going to handle it and that was that and he then stated " well then when we get done don't tell me you have to speak to your wife to decided". So at that point I was just going to through him out my home, but because I figure they were the experts that I would at least get the estimate and decided what to do from there.

The entire time the representative was talking to me like I was a 5 year old, after a hour in a half this system that he was offering to do was just over $12,000 dollars !!!!!!!!!! yes TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. I then asked if the system sounds like it would works, I informed him it did but the system doesn't work if you can't afford it. After him wasting a hour and a half of my time he then said if you don't want a permeant fix I can offer you something different at a better price.

I work in customer service and this was the worst experience I have ever had, I wouldn't take their system if they gave it to me for FREE !!!!! I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Happy Customer

I write this letter in regards to work performed at my residence by Everdry, Inc. and completed on June 3, 2008.

I affirm that all work was done professionally and competently and to the highest standards of the profession and of myself, as the customer. The workers were knowledgeable, well-informed, personable and dedicated. They worked unstintingly and with aplomb. There was to lallygagging or horesplay, no foul language or loud music. The on-site supervisor was prepared and able to answer any questions that arose in my mind.

The job consisted of three parts: the deconstruction and removal of an old wood-furnace chimney, and cartage of said detritus from the property; the outside drainage system installation and the inside system. All phases of the job were performed satisfactorily. The job consumed portions of three work days and was accomplished without a hitch as far as I am aware. Cleanup after the job was thorough and leaves me without complaint-quite the reverse, in fact.

The only untoward casualty of the experience was one single budding iris, a small and understandable loss, one easily forgivable considering the scope of the project, and there are others left to bud and bloom.

As the drainage system itself is as yet untried I cannot speak to its efficacy, but as for its construction and installation I have nothing but praise. I am confident that my home's foundation is protected now as never before-a confidence that will translate into more peaceful sleep, I am sure.
