Extraordinary service. Half of electricity out during freeze and Barney gave me quick response; fixed the problem in five minuets and would not take any payment. Been looking for electrician in Rockwall for long time and now I have one that is responsive and knows what he is doing. Will tell all my friends.

I had a HUGE light fixture to hang in my foyer. I called Barney because of all the excellent reviews on YP.com. I was not disappointed.

Barney is wonderful. He came when he said he would, did what he said he would do and charged me what the quoted me. All with respect and a smile. He was very polite.

Barney is from up north and comes across as bit gruff, but worry not. He is a doll and I will never use another electrician.

We have used Barney's company twice to make improvements...... add electrical outlets inside and out, change and add lighting fixtures etc. He and his employees are friendly , knowledgeable, hardworking, and fast! We will use him again when we need an electrician.

I have had Barney out to the house several times to install ceiling fans, GFI and find an intermittent electrical problem. He always shows up, and is a reliable good guy. I will use him again, and have recommended him to others. Besides, he is a gumba.

I found Barney's Electric in the Sachse yellow pages, gave him a call to install an entryway light that was just too high for us to reach. Prior to calling Barney, I had gotten off the phone with another electrician I also found in the phone book, who advised me that for a meager $69 fee, they would come out next week to give me an estimate for installing the light. That $69 fee was just for the technicians to give me an estimate for the actual work. Thank goodness I didn't go with that company! I saw Barney's add and I called him, explained the height of the ceiling and what I wanted done, and over the phone gave me a final quote that was significantly lower than I expected. Didn't even charge me any fee for the estimate! He said he would come out the next day to install the light. He arrived, about 15 minutes early and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. He was respectful, very careful with the most enormous ladder I've ever seen and I knew instantly that this man knew what he was doing! He and his partner even tried to clean up the little bit of ceiling debris that fell down on the floor.



I've had workers come into my home, bang into my walls with their equipment, be disrespectful, leave doors open and just not seem to care about their customers. Barney was amazing and I will recommend him to everyone who asks! You definitely will NOT go wrong choosing his company! I will be using him for whatever electrical needs my family has from now on! Thank you Barney for making such a great impression on a first time customer!

A friend of mine recommended Barney's, and from now on I will be recommending Barney's. Barney returned my call promptly, arrived exactly when he said he would, got right to work. We have hired Barney on three different occasions. He installed one outdoor fan, one inside fan and a light fixture from an 18 ft. ceiling. On one occasion he actually fixed a bathroom light switch that I requested at the last minute. He is prompt, courteous and quick. I will never call anyone else!

Barney's couples many years of experience with attention to detail to provide the customer with a wonderful and beautiful product. They did my landscape lighting and I would highly recommend them to any job...big or small. The lighting on my house is wonderful, looks amazing, and adds value to the house. We get nothing but positive comments on the quality of the work. If you need sample pix, ask Barney as he has 5-6 of mine for a sample of his work.

Barney Electric provided excellent service at a reasonable price. They were called to install a new outlet but also installed a cooktop and a new light switch while they were onsite. We've now used Barney twice at our place and both times he was on-time, courteous and professional. He was also far cheaper than his bigger competitors who wanted almost twice what Barney wanted.

I live in Heath, and Barney came out and did some work on my pool's electrical panel. After getting over the initial shock of seeing smoke pouring out of the panel, I called Barney and he was able to get it fixed within a few days. He was prompt, courteous, and his rates were very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

We hired a general contractor to do some work at our new home. When the electrical part of the job got more detailed than we had originally planned, he said we needed a master electrician and suggested we call Barney for an estimate. Long story short, we hired Barney because he was local, reasonably priced and could do the work within the time frame we needed. He added extra breakers, electrical plugs inside/outside, ceiling fans on outside patio, bathroom ceiling shower light, ran electrical for the pot rack lights in the kitchen and added a light in my front hallway art niche. He shows up on time (even a little early!), does neat, professional work and is very friendly. He's not from Texas, but we won't hold that against him. I'm sure he got here as fast as he could! I have his number programmed in my mobile phone now and he left me a sticker on the breaker box! We will definitely call him for any future electrical work.

Update 11/01/10

We called Barney back for additional work after our general contractor dropped off the face of the earth! As usual, he was prompt, courteous and funny. He will be coming back to add additional outside lights for us soon. We highly recommend his company.

I had 3 ceiling fans to install. I went through the yellow pages and called 5 companies to get quotes. Some wouldn't quote over the phone but Barney would and he didn't charge me a service call like the others would plus his quote was the lowest. He arrived 30 minutes early and installed the fans in no time. I'll be sure to use him again for my electrical work.

Here's the deal.....Man-Cave had one too many extension cords into one outlet....small electrical fire ensues in the garage...wife comes home to a smoke filled garage! Fire Department gets a call and then the next call is to BARNEY'S ELECTRIC.
