Laura Hoot has been managing our HOA for several years and is doing a great job. Our old management company took forever to get back to us on pending issues but she is often ahead of even our requests! It's a tough job I'm sure but she does it with a smile!

I usually dont take the time to do reviews because i am too busy but i had to write this one. As an owner in an HOA managed by Laura Hoot, I was blown away by the fact she had already contacted a contractor to fix our mail boxes before i could call the problem in. Some criminal broke into our mailboxes over the holidays and I came home to find they were fixed the same day I called her!! Awesome!!!

I had a problem with my application. My husband and I had been good renters, but we like a lot of folks had bought a house we couldnâ t afford. It went into foreclosure and really messed up our credit. We had always had very good credit before this. I called Mr. Beven. His name and direct number were right on the info form they give to all applicants. I was actually quite surprised by that, an owner of a big company like this giving all tenants his direct number. He did not answer, so I left him a message. He called back in about 15 minutes.
Well, he listened to my problem, then told me that they were reviewing their rental criteria, recognizing how many good tenants may be in my situation. He said that I would be one of the first they may be able to let in under these circumstances, but he thought that he could get me approved. He did. We are now in our new home on Villa street, and very happy. I would like to thank the rental staff at Beven & Brock, and also to thank Mr. Beven for understanding.

My water heater started leaking sometime Sunday while I was away. It soaked the carpet in the hall, living room, and one of the bedrooms. I got home around 5:00 pm, and immediately called the Beven & Brock emergency service line. I got an operator who assured me that she would have someone from the company call me right away. It took 30 minutes. That seemed like a long time to me. When I finally did get the call things did get better. I was asked to turn off the water to the water heater, which I did. I was told that someone would be there soon. It was not soon enough for me, but 45 minutes later a guy did show up with the equipment to dry out the carpets and he drained the water heater. An hour later, another guy shows up with a new water heater, and by 8:30 he had it installed and had taken away the old water heater. I donâ t know if this is normal for them, but I do admit that it was pretty good service. Not perfect, but pretty good. I still had to deal with the fans of the carpet dryers running for several days.

This review is in appreciation for Taylor Coumans-Cirunay. My wife and I lived at one of Beven and Brock's properties in South Pasadena for two years, and we really enjoyed our time there. A big part of why we enjoyed it so much was because Taylor always responded to our requests quickly and stayed in contact with us until the work was complete. She always made everything transparent and easy for us, especially the move out. She is one of the best property managers we have ever had in LA.

Tricia Ford is our HOA's manager for B & B. She is awesome. She communicates well and keeps us posted when there are issues going on in our complex. Yesterday, I had to call her to report a water leak in my master bedroom. After I explained what was happening in my unit, she told me that she'd contact the plumbing company they contract with. That company called me back within the hour and they sent out a plumber very quickly. He was great. Very easy to deal with and extremely thorough. She followed-up with the water remediation contractor and they too were very good. I can't say enough good things about the joy of working with Tricia. B & B is our third management company in the nearly four years I've lived here. And I am so grateful that Tricia was given the assignment as manager for us. She makes the entire experience positive with her pro-active approach to management and her extremely professional, hands-on approach.

The lease was not easy to attain but he demonstrated leadership, resilience, and delegation.
