My garage roof looked like crap. It was curling and missing shingles, but wasn’t leaking so I didn’t think anything of it. Until my insurance company notified me they were going to cancel my insurance if I didn’t take care of it. I have my vintage vehicle stored in the garage so I was not about to let that happen. They sent out Randy to inspect who was great. The entire process was smoother than a baby’s bottom. The crew was professional, cleaned up quickly, and got the hell out of there. My roof sure doesn’t look like crap no more.

I have previously dealt with smaller home improvement companies in the past for repairs. I fully planned on using them again, but due to never receiving a quote multiple times after having them out to my house I said enough is enough and asked a few friends who to use. My buddy Nick recommended Avalon and I gave them a call. Within hours of calling I had a scheduled appointment. Jeremy who came to my home to inspection my leaking roof was very honest with his findings and opinion on how to stop the leak. He gave me an estimate the same day, drew up a detailed contract on what would be done to my home, and explained Avalon’s entire process on how and when my new roof would be completed. I got my loan approval call from them days later, and the next day a call to schedule the installation. Avalon was quick and responsive to get it done. I am happy with their professional service and what I got.

From day one Billy was very cool about things and on the ball. Avalon has been very proficient throughout. Everyone that stops over compliments the siding and windows. I was as nervous as a wet cat, but Billy really made me feel comfortable about my investment. I can’t thank you guys enough. THANK YOU.

They did a remarkable job. I really liked the representative that was sent to my home. Jason was polite, friendly, listened, and unlike most people in the construction trades I have spoken with in the past. He he did not speak too technical, yet shared his expertise about my roof from his own experiences. No one cares how much you know until they know you care, and I knew Jason cared about my project. I was extremely impressed with the crew leader and his team. They arrived early to my home and didn’t stop working until lunch. Anytime I poked my nose outside Juan was there asking if he could answer anything. They were diligent on getting things picked up throughout the project. They were quiet and discreet with their music and had a great work ethic. As it was going to rain the next day Juan kept his crew there until it was completed. Avalon did everything I expected them to do. They truly underpromised and over delivered.

It was above and beyond what I was expecting. Clint was very relaxed and down to earth, yet straight forward about Avalon’s roofing process. He told me his crews could complete the roof tear off, installation, clean up, and haul away of debris in one day and delivered. I signed the contract and within 6 days had Avalon calling me to set up installation. The day of installation I came home from work to a finished roof and the crew hauling away waste and running magnets through my yard. I am very impressed with Avalon and my new roof. They did a great job.

I live in a historic area and finding a contractor that could handle the unique character and design of my home was challenging. Avalon’s people are smart and clearly communicate with you, which is extremely important. The communication took place from the first person who came to my home for the inspection, to the person calling me with updates about deliveries and installation, to the last person who followed up with me after the project was complete. The inspector informed me my roof was possible to get done in one day during my signing, but due to terrible weather that interfered, it took five days to complete fully. However, it was done in a very neat manner, and the lines the crew used with the shingles captured the character of my historic home beautifully. I am very pleased with Avalon’s professional staff, and knowing my new roof is the last one I will have to buy in my lifetime.

I am pleased I choose Avalon over the other guys who came out to my house. Jeremy was very upfront with us about the product, how Avalon does business and gave us the same GAF shingle at a lower price. Everything he promised, the company delivered on. The crew came out early morning, busted ass, were polite, and had the entire thing completed in one day. I still look at my roof and say ‘Damn I love my roof’.

I was highly impressed with Avalon. I reached out to them after having a contractor I hired tell me he was too busy to get to my job. I researched them on review sites and gave them a call based on their ratings. It was super easy to set up an appointment. Chris showed up to my home and easily identified the issues as I had a leak where my flat roof and pitched roof adjoined. He provided me very detailed information on exactly how Avalon would fix the problems. Everything sounded great, but I was worried with Michigan weather that I would be stuck in the same situation I was at with my previous contractor. NO. That didn’t happen. They acted fast and got to my pitched roof completed within days of signing.

I was not home for the whole installation as I had to work, but received updates throughout the day from their roofing manager, Adam. He even gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him day or night if I had any concerns, which really gave me comfort. I arrived home from work to a roof that looked beautiful, all delivered materials were gone, and there was no mess left behind. My flat roof was completed until a month later. However, they let me know ahead of time that it was due to needing higher temperatures. Adam, again kept me informed as to when people would be arriving at my home.

The best thing about Avalon is not that my new roofs look great, they got to my quickly, or that I have no more leaks, but the fact that they fixed a cosmetic dip on the corner of my home’s overhang AT NO EXTRA COST! A cost that I was originally quoted by another company at $6,000. This company is smart, honest, and truly goes above what is expected. I highly recommend them.

Every single person I dealt with from Avalon has done an excellent job. I have gone back to them now for three different projects because I feel they think of the person and their home first, not just the money. That is hard to find in a home improvement company. They are knowledgeable in what they sell and have follow through in what they say they will do. Avalon is the company to call when you are making any changes to your home.

Avalon’s work speaks for itself. Never seen anything like it. They tore off a roof and put a new one on within seven hours. I can’t believe they did it that fast. They gave me a great warranty and answered all questions I have had. Definitely recommended.

I recently had Avalon complete a bathroom remodel and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. They were able to get me financed which was a huge benefit as my bathroom really needed help. They worked with me on the design, and made suggestions that really added to my vision. The crew worked around my last minute changes and custom built a vanity counter top for me to keep my clothes shot hidden. Everything I mentioned I wanted during our meetings they delivered. Jamey who was assigned as my project manager has come back multiple times to check on progress. The crew themselves have been extremely neat with all the details. I could not be happier or ask for more.

I was impressed with how friendly the guys were. Clint was very informative about my choices and presented me the best option that he said he would want in his home. The installers were respectful laying out tarps to make sure my carpet started clean as they were in and out of the house. I no longer have drafts and my sliders open and close correctly.

Avalon Building Concepts, Inc. has and is the Absolute Best at what they do! Their crews came to put a new roof on our house and did a phenomenal job. From start to finish everyone from sales to building, to billing was awesome! You couldn't ask for a better organization to work with and We Highly Recommend them to everyone! Avalon installed a new roof and gutters on my house and they did a wonderful job. Doug and Randy were my reps and they were great. They even came back after the Work was done to make sure I was satisfied.

We got a knock on our door from Jonathan informing us that while standing on and inspecting our neighbor’s roof he noticed some missing shingles on our roof. He mentioned that we should contact our insurance agent to see if we could get the damage covered. We called him back out when our insurance agent arrived and he went to bat for us to get, not only the damaged shingles covered, but our whole roof. We had to wait awhile for our new roof due to bad weather, but we just had an army of installers leave that got our roof done in 4 hours. I am extremely happy with the way our new roof looks.

Avalon was quick to get me scheduled and my new roof put on. The crew arrived bright in the morning. I had to leave for work, but my mother was home and kept me informed on what was happening. She told me that the crew got right to work. She never saw anyone standing around, and said there was one crew member strictly cleaning up. When I arrived home my new roof was basically completed. The crew did come back the next day, on a Saturday, to put on the finishing touches. Only concern was where they had to park the dumpster. I wish they would have asked where to park it as the placement was a little inconvenient to get out of my driveway. Otherwise, communication was great and I got exactly what I wanted, a great roof.

We had our roof completed last year and it happened extremely smooth. We went on vacation and ended up having a leak around our old skylight, they immediately responded to my call and had someone out to correct it the next day. We still have their sign in our yard because their work and customer service were so good. There was no hesitating to contact them again when it came to our gutter guards. Avalon did take longer to complete that project, but the workmanship is excellent. For cost and quality there is not anyone that compares in the city. Highly recommend them.

My windows were terrible. I constantly had cold air coming through them. Avalon had some of the nicest guys install my new windows and the cold air stays out now. They keep the heat in as my bedroom is finally warm now.

As a small business owner and partner for a few rental properties finding a roofing company that would work around my schedule and my partners was slightly difficult. I don’t always work a nine to five day and did not necessarily want to disturb the tenants at the property that required the roofing at all possible. Avalon was quick to get with us on the inspection, working around our schedules, and provided a good price. They made the entire process simple while keeping us informed as to what was happening. The roof and gutters look great. I know I will use them again the next time one of my properties needs work.
