Called late the night before for a 6:45 AM pickup. Immediately got a text with a confirmation number and a text in the morning with the driver's name and phone number. On time, professional, great!

Very good service. I have used them several times to and from La Guardia. They are always on time (actually early). I usually call a couple hours before pickup and have never had an issue. Today I called for airport pickup, the dispatcher said about 15 minutes and was right on. The drivers I have had have all been very friendly.

Very good for traveling with babies or young children; they charge a reasonable surcharge for car seat, and show up with a good seat ready for traveling



(unlike other services who are like "hey, do you know how to install this thing?").



Lost some sunglasses in a car; owner Manuel worked hard to get them back to me.

I have used Eastern for all of my rides for the past two years and they are consistently good. I continue to use them due to the constant communication about who is picking you up (name, car to look for, est. time of arrival), the consistent professionalism of their drivers (I did have a few questionable personalities but that is the law of averages). I use them for both my personal travel and taking my friends and clients home (sometimes to the depths of NJ)I tend to book through their online reservation system which also stores your receipts (for business expenses). The only suggestion I have is that I would love an app as opposed to having to find the website on my phone. Highly recommend.

Great ride from Brooklyn to LaGuardia! Driver was on time, friendly, and professional. I received a text confirmation after booking, a text when he was on his way, and a phone call when he pulled up outside.



Car was clean and comfortable.

I have been using Eastern for a couple years now because they have the option of child car seats. What prompted me to write this review is on Friday I thought I had cards stolen out of my wallet at work but later learned an eastern driver had found the cards and brought them back to my apartment building and gone looking for me and left them with my super. I am so incredibly grateful to him for doing this.

Felt like it was time to update this review since I've now used Eastern many times. This is the best car service in the area. They always show up on time and have friendly drivers. I will never count on anyone else.

The driver was on time and courteous

We used Eastern 4 times in 4 days, in every instance, they were on time - or early - had courteous, English speaking drivers (ok well one struggled a bit but still was nice), clean cars, most of which are newer sedans. Our last ride was in a minivan owned by the driver (I asked) but in good repair, didn't break down on the way to JFK (hey, it happens!). Nelson was the nicest driver we'd had all week. They text confos with the driver's cell phone, GREAT tool.

My husband and I would call in for a car and the vehicles would always arrive clean and well kept and the drivers were pleasant. The prices were decent.

they are terrible ! the worst taxi company that i ever used . they forget your bookings , the driver is always late , you call the call center and they tell you that driver will be there in 15 minutes and it's not true !! believe me , the worst service in the world

Because of snow, we needed a car service to take us to an appointment in Manhattan on the 14th. We phoned one car service to make an appointment, and we were told the fare would be $200.00! I logged on to the Eastern Car Service website and was able to make a reservation at their regular, non price- gouging rate. On Friday morning, our car arrived right on time. The driver was polite and very professional. He was an excellent driver, and he regularly monitored his mapping device to find routes that were not congested. He was fabulous, and our experience was nothing less than wonderful. I love the fact that it is possible to make reservations on the internet. I recommend Eastern Car Service and will use it again.

We recently used Eastern twice in a very short period of time and found them to be fairly reliable. The reason we used Eastern was because we were traveling and needed a car service with a child seat. My wife called Eastern prior to our arrival and they immediately sent a text confirmation and continued to send update text messages when we arrived regarding which car will be picking us up. The driver was exactly where they said he would be located. The car was clean and the driver was friendly. On our departure, we called about 36 hours prior to leaving and asked for the same service. Oddly though, we never got a text message so we called 3 times to confirm and we got a verbal confirmation each time. However, when our pickup was scheduled, we got a car at our hotel, but it didn't come with a carseat. The driver called dispatch and asked for another car with a carseat. With some mixup on addresses, our taxi arrived 30 minutes after our scheduled pickup. Our flat rate fare from LGA to Brooklyn ran about $40 including car seat and gratuity. I would highly recommend them.

We just had the best driver in our experience of visiting this city. He was totally sane and totally prepared. It was as if there was no traffic. Five stars Thank you
