While driving home on the freeway on a Friday afternoon, our 2001 Honda Odyssey mini-van had a transmission problem. When you'd accelerate, the transmission wouldn't engage—you could hear the engine rev, see the RPMs increase, but the van wouldn't move forward.

We had it towed home by AAA (and just FYI on the AAA tow—we had three people in the van, but the tow vehicle could only seat two. Having no other way to get home, one of our passengers had to walk. I certainly don't recall reading that when I paid $160.00 for my membership to AAA, that you are limited to one or two passengers, depending on the size of the tow truck sent. So be aware of that!) So, after this long-winded review, I want to say that I fully recommend David and Eagle Transmission in Mesquite! Thanks, David and Team Eagle Transmission of Mesquite!

Got recommended to come here. Had a good experience! Very clean, friendly! I brought my car here thinking I had a transmission problem, they informed me it was a misfire. They do not fix that there, so I went somewhere else, got the plugs changed and problem solved! Thanks for the honesty guys!

I had a great experience at the eagle in mesquite, I was traveling for work when my car stopped shifting so I had to have them tow it in.. They gave me a free diagnostic and found out I needed to rebuild my transmission. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was only without my car for 2 days and it is running great.

I used Mesquite Eagle Transmission to replace my transmission and have been back several times, as they were nice enough to check out a couple of other things for me. The service has been great every time.

I have a 66 Fleetwood. The rear differential was destroyed. They towed me for free. They found all these very rare parts from all over the country and put it together perfectly. And i was expecting a much higher price tag but it was fair, and under budget. That car is so smooth now. They are specialists. I recommend them for their transmission work too. They got the water completely out of the transmission on my van. They are polite too. Thanks David, thanks Tea. Im very satisfied.

Just picked up my Chevy a couple of weeks ago and my truck runs fantastic! It was fixed within a week. I was glad I did not have to be without a vehicle for long. Great communication and way less than what the dealer wanted to charge me! Thanks again! You guys have a new customer!

A friend of mine got royally screwed here. I read the reviews here and I find it odd that customers placed good reviews here once weekly for a few months straight. My friend was billed $500 for inspecting the trans and when he decided to take it elsewhere due to the estimate being too high, they refused to release the car unless he paid close to $500 ( labor charge to put the trans back in). He told them not to put it back in to avoid the extra charge. They put the trans in a box inside the the vehicle but other pieces where found through out the car and several pieces where missing. Very unprofessional. Don't risk it go elsewhere

It took a little bit to get picked up but after I was picked up, everything went very well.

Best experience ever at any place remotely related to cars. I know almost nothing about cars and am always afraid I'm being taken advantage of. I didn't have to worry about that here -- the awesome folks here really seem to just do their jobs without trying to unnecessarily maximize their profits.

This place is great! I called in the morning to get a price quote about rear brake and rotor replacement, and had an exact price within 3 minutes and was told to bring in my car that afternoon and it would be done by closing (5pm). I dropped it off at 1pm and it was ready by 315pm. The price was exactly what was quoted over the phone + tax and they did not try to upsale me in any way with additional services. I am so impressed and will DEFINITELY be back.

Amazing and the most honest mechanic I have ever worked with. I went to them as a second opinion and he gave me the true story on what was wrong with my car.

Did a great job helping me with cleaning codes on my car. Very nice, polite, and had great customer service skills when dealing with a customer. If I need any transmission work to be done, I will come back.

Really, they are THAT good! We've been going to them for over 5 years and ALWAYS leave feeling so grateful to have them on our side. They are honest, don't upsell, treat you like a real person with a brain, and are timely in updating you with what is up with your car and consult with you on how you want to proceed. PERFECT! They are really popular so you need to make an appt as soon as you know you need to go in- totally worth it!

We brought in a high-mileage car for routine maintenance, and the folks at Eagle were very honest about which services needed to be taken care of versus ones that could be put off for a bit -- a completely different experience than with the likes of the super chains, who always seem to "find" extra things that need servicing. And their services are very fairly priced.

Great service I had my 2 front axles done.
At frist was going to go to Honda dealer to get it fixed. But they would charge me 475 for each axle. So I looked around and found Eagle Transmission with great reviews . So I went and got a free estaminet . And would charge me 495.08 with tax for both I was like are you for real in my head. They installed it so far so good 6 month warranty no problems . I would recommend it to any one .

A good mechanic is one of those recommendations that you look for your whole life. It's like seeing a unicorn or a dog walk on its hind legs. Here's why I love the crew at Eagle Transmission...They triage the problems with your car: they sort issues into easy-to-understand concepts like, "This is a big problem with your car and it needs to get fixed right now", "This is an issue with your car that needs to be fixed in the next few months but isn't urgent," and "I'm not sure why the dealership told you that, because that's not even the problem." -They are fast, reliable, and do quality work. The cost is totally reasonable. A family friend in another state owns a garage, so I always confirm the cost of all repairs, and FAC's estimates always come in at or below the "fair price" range.

I come here for my car service and they do a good job. No problems really. They get kind of busy sometimes but they get to you quick.

I am grateful for Eagle Transmission and their options to finance. My car repair really put me in a tight spot but they were understanding and gave me all the right information to get it fixed as soon as possible.
