I was so impressed with the customer service and quality of work of J&M. We called for an estimate for a new AC unit and Phil came out that day (wow!). He gave us a very competitive price. The install was the same week. They were on time and efficient. I appreciated that they were so respectful of my time as well. It was great to have a local business that was so reliable and reasonably priced.

Phil showed up 10 minutes ahead of scheduled time and provided a fair and competitive estimate. Phil and Tom completed the work and their professionalism and attention to detail was excellent. Their quality of service is great! We highly recommend them to any one need of heating and air conditioning services.

I had been recommended to J & M through my niece and I've not been disappointed. I was selling my home and it needed a gas unit which they installed...After two years in my new home, I needed an electric heat pump system and again I called on them to help me, I am that confidant in their pricing and ability.

I recommend them for many reasons...They return my calls, are very professional, honest, clean, and knowledgeable. I feel good using a small business company- which we should all support. They live up to their motto "do it right the first time".

We had an awesome experience when we chose J & M Heating and Cooling to install air-conditioning in our home. From the initial meeting we found Phil to be up-front, honest, and detailed in his description of the work to be done. Not only did Phil & Tom complete the install ahead of schedule, but they kept the areas they worked in clean and clutter free each day. His excellent work ethics and quality product are above standards. This was a trouble free experience from a top notch company who also stands behind their work.

My heater died on New Years eve! I searched the Internet for a 5 star company because I'm tired of being burned. Phil was friendly, professional and gave me a couple of options for a new heater (yup, heater was dead!). The new heater had to be ordered and wouldn't be available until the next day, so Phil left and came back with 3 space heaters for my to use. The next day the new heater was installed. I would hightly recomment J & M to anyone who needs heating or cooling work done. They are a wonderful company, and treat you like you're one of their own family members.

I had a family emergency and at the same time our heater stopped working I called J&M heating and cooling and they came within the hour in the snow storm. Very professional most importantly my heater is working I am very thankful for this company. Phil was very friendly and explained thoroughly what was going on and had my heater up and running within an hour.I was able to leave my house in return to the hospital without worrying about this issue and focus on my loved one.

Christmas Morning with two kids and no heat does not work! Just moving to the area from North Jersey I had no idea who to call, let alone on Christmas. I just started calling around,one company told me their first appointment would be in a few days and another company showed up but not had no clue whatsoever. I finally found Tom and not only was he at my house in ten minutes, he was very informative and helpful. I recommend this company to everyone and will only be using them moving forward! Phil and Tom saved us from the cold. Our 10-year-old, builder's grade heater started blowing cold air. We called and Phil came out first thing the next morning. After trying to salvage the old system by replacing the igniter, Phil advised us to go with a newer, energy and cost efficient model rather than pour more money into parts for the dying one. First thing the next morning (a Saturday), Phil and Tom were in our driveway with the new heater. They even lent us space heaters to get us through the frigid nights. My wife, two boys, and I can't thank J & M enough. Now we're watching the snow flakes fall outside from inside our (now again) cozy home.

By far the best experience I've had with any service provider I've had to my home...Phil and Tom are extremely professional, knowledgeable, timely and courteous. They installed a whole new heating and cooling system and I was extremely happy with every aspect of the job from start to finish. I would highly recommend them and was very impressed with all the little details that come with using a company where the owners do everything themselves. They have a very nice website and before the work begins give you a very nice packet detailing the work that will be done, brochures on the equipment you will be receiving which also gives you the option of price so that you have the final decision regarding cost, no pushy salesperson...Very refreshing!!!

These guys are great. I just purchased my first home and needed some repairs done to the chimney liner and a new hot water heater. A friend recommended them to me and it was a great decision. They were prompt to answer any questions I had, the work they did was superb, and I'd recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

We live in a community where there are several HVAC services available. At a friend's recommendation, we called J & M. Their motto "do it right the first time" caught our attention & we've been very pleased. They are very prompt in their response and are reasonable. J & M's number is the one we keep on file for our HVAC services.

Highly recommend J&M for heating/cooling installation/services! First off, the owners actually do the work - and Phil and Tom promptly return your phone calls. They show up on day and time as scheduled. They perform quality work and are professional and honest. They installed a new system in our home a few years ago and we were able to understand their explanation on the efficiency/mechanics of the equipment installed. It is a pleasure dealing with these knowledgeble/dependable gentlemen! They give what you need - no oversell!

J&M Heating and Cooling is being ranked excellent by us. Phil and Tom are the greatest people to work with. We recently had a new heating and cooling system installed in our home and they were professional, expedient, neat, honest and very cost reasonable. They were easy to reach and always returned our calls

ASAP. They provided us with three options that were easy to understand if you're not familiar with their line of expertise. The job was completed and you would never know they were here except for the brand new system. Tom even removed a shrub and replanted it because it was in the way of the air conditioner. When I called J.M. Heating & Cooling for a quote, they got back to me by phone the same day. They explained the options I had for an efficient system. They helped fill out the paper work for the rebates.



The two men worked independent of each other and got the job done fast, clean and efficiently. They don't try to oversell you; they sell you just what you need for your home.

Both Phil and Tom are wonderful service providers. I used them in May for a medium project of relocating and reducing duct work. Then I used them to replace a separate HAVC unit. They were friendly, respectful, tidy and reasonable. We will use them in the future and we have already recommended them to other friends.

I've had J&M at my home for several projects now and each time have been more than happy with the results. I would highly recommend them. Really great service, very professional and knowledgeable and always willing to answer all of my questions. Phil and Tom are nice guys that are very good at what they do.

Amazing Service. Came out the same day and called ahead to let me know who would be showing up at my door.

While there for routine A/C servicing, they brought to my attention that equipment needed more freon and showed me exactly what they added pound wise. Fair price on it too!

I will definitely call Tom and Phil when it is time to replace the system and have their number in my contact list for referrals to friends.
