Plumbers were courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. They responded on a winter Saturday when they were busy with lots of frozen pipe emergencies. They solved my leak problem a lot faster than I thought possible. They worked tirelessly for several hours until the job was knocked out. I will use them again without hesitation. They were NOT cheap. Techs responding were Justin #252 and Jeremy #1280.

Mr John Gleason- ( #1482) - is a very impressive person!! He is the most efficient, professional, and thorough plumber or Roto - Rooter service technician that I have ever had come fix our drainage problem. He was pleasant, informative, and explained everything clearly- and cleaned up after he finished his work. I will always ask for him in the future. I was truly amazed. They came very late in the evening to relight my hot water tank. I also had a sump pump where the switch quit working and I had water in the basement, hence the pilot light went out. He could not relight the tank, but could sell me a new one. Barely looked at my sump pump and said I needed a new one. He basically did nothing and charged me nothing. When my husband got home the next day, he drained the water from the tank and relit the pilot. We needed a new switch on the sump pump and he got that for $20 at Lowes. So this guy from Roto Rooter did not help me one bit to get hot water. I think he was in a hurry to get home and to sell me $$$$$$ on hot water tank and sump pump. This was Nov. 2017.

Chris D. went above and beyond in his work. He came to repair a leak in the shower drain. He was honest and upfront about the project and price from the beginning. He explained everything that he was doing and provided information about how to care for the drain to prevent future problems. He was courteous and kind, and you could tell he truly cared about providing quality and honest service.

The technician was kind and courteous and appeared to know what he was talking about. I appreciated that. However, I do not appreciate having to pay additional money when I have 2 situations - that the 1 is caused by the first problem. My sink was backed up due to food clog - which fed into my tub (small house) - The tech was able to get the sink unclogged, but said there would be addtl charge if he worked on the tub clog now because it didn't fix along w/ sink. $305. initial and you don't think that's enough money -????????/

Wonderful experience. Scheduling was very easy - I placed an online request for service late last night and the technician was here first thing this morning. He diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it very quickly. He was very professional and took time to explain things and answer my questions. It is a relief to know who quickly Roto-Rooter responds and I will definitely call them in the future and refer people to them.

Roto-Rooter and the technician, Matthew 32-1563, did an excellent job responding to my plumbing repair need this past Saturday. My toilet was leaking water from the tank to the bowl due to a worn out rubber ring on the flush valve. An easy job to tackle until I realized the the bolts were impossible to remove after multiple failed attempts.

One quick call to Roto-Rooter to describe the problem, and the dispatcher called me back within 30 mins to inform me of Matthew's arrival. Matthew arrived on time and listened carefully of my plumbing issue. He explained what he had to do and informed me of the hourly rate. He completed the repair within the mentioned time frame, and checked for leaks three times before considering the job to be complete. He was thorough, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He finished the job on time and he cleaned things up afterwards.

Needed emergency service on a Saturday morning. The technician arrived when he said he would and was able to resolve the immediate problem. Utilized Roto Rooter for the long term fix several days later. Prompt, professional and the price was fair. Highly recommend.

Roto Rooter completed the job another plumber Bolen Plumbing was unable to complete. It was no problem for Roto Rooted. They were very prompt at handling the problem, and very professional. They also informed me regularly of the progress. I recommend them if you want the job done right

Service is pricey but I wanted to get job done right the first time. Another big company which I paid for a membership with wasn't ever available when I needed for plumbing services. Roto-Rooter's folks were prompt and professional, friendly even! All the options and their estimated prices were presented and likelihood of issue being resolved per option was also well explained. I went with the most cost effective option which I didn't feel pressured on one way or another. Financing was available which is awesome and was also quick and easy. The job was stated and ended in a reasonable amount of time.

Pricey. Very prompt: arrived 2 hours after I called for service, called 30 mins ahead and arrived on time. Was helpful and personable. Good explanation of options (was supportive of more conservative fix) and procedure. 1 year service guarantee.

Expensive-
Tech was great. Cost $305 for 1.5 hrs. We had area prepped, already snaked drain 20', area clean and ready for tech to easily get to the root of the problem (he snaked another 10') and cleared it out problem with out having to deal with all the water backed up in sink. Very frustrated by how EXPENSIVE this was.

I had a sump pump go out and my basement was covered in water. I called Roto-Rooter to see if they had anyone that could come out ASAP. They said they did and someone was at my house about 3 hours later to replace the pump. My main issue with them is pricing. The job took less than an hour and they charged nearly $600. That was ~$220 for the pump (which could be purchased for $130 on Amazon) and $339 or so for the labor. So not only did they charge way more than market on the pump but their hourly rate was outrageous. I understand that it was an emergency situation and they responded quickly (which I appreciated), but I come now to realize they charge nearly double the going rate for this service. I don't mind a premium for emergency services but I felt that the pricing took advantage of a customer in a tough spot. As a result I canceled my water mitigation I had scheduled with them (which they quoted between $3800 and $4800) since I didn't feel like I could trust what they were charging me. I probably will look elsewhere if I have another emergency plumbing issue.

Extremely friendly... Didn't make me feel awkward (clogged toilets can be embarrassing... Let's be honest) and we're polite enough to wear shoes covers. They mentioned a coupon before I ever asked about discounts or better pricing.

Our technician Chris came to install our hot water tank. Did a wonderful job and was very nice. He did flood our basement (accidentally) and the restoration team came out at 11pm to remove the water and dry the basement. Thank you, Chris.

This is my first experience with Roto-Rooter. The customer service staff including the dispatcher was great and the technician on site , ( Ted), did a great job explaining the problem and corrective action on my property. Great job folks!!!

Pricing is 2-3 times higher than what others charge. What should have been a $300 job cost $650. Tech takes advantage of situation to add on fees. I will never use again. Customer service afterward is not existent. Still waiting for a call back from the supervisor.

After not getting called back or being able to speak with anyone who was more than a receptionist at 6 other local shops; Roto-Rootsr was able to discuss our issue and schedule an appointment that same afternoon. The diagnosis was quick and Rob had everything working quickly. Cost was about 1/3 of what we had expected from other quotes over the phone. Also took the time to show us how to address similar issues in the future and left some of the materials/tools we would need to do so on our own.

Our technician, Rob, deserves his own recommendation. Polite, friendly, informative and efficient. He was a great ambassador for the company.

Would absolutely recommend Roto-Rooter.
