I’m just not a fan of relocations. They are always unpredictable and the moving companies don’t really help. But that perception changed when I hired Better rate movers. This company is just so good. I know a lot people say that but I really mean it. They did everything right. They showed up on time, boxed everything properly and delivered on time. The movers were all such strong men. It is a hard job but they didn’t seem to slow down at all. Their energy was almost infectious. It won’t be fair if I don’t mention the price. The final number came slightly over the quote but the initial estimate was very low. I’m really not scared of moving anymore.

Here is a moving company who respects your attachment to your belongings. I have worked hard to buy the furniture that I own now. I required Better rate movers to be careful with them. They were excellent. Every little thing was packed very efficiently by the very potent movers who showed up right on time. They were very strong and had no issues while carrying everything to the van. Everything was systematic and there were no issues at all. The delivery was made on time and all my belongings were safe. I thank these guys wholeheartedly.

THEY SUCK, NOT BBB ACREDITED RECEIVED A D- WITH THE BBB, GOT SUED BIG TIME AND OPENED UP UNDER ANOTHER NAME!

They have paid answering service not customer service and they be warned they will take a itemized list of what you have then when they arrive at your home, TELL YOU IT GOES BY CUBIC FEET AND DEMAD MORE MONEY!!!

I PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON A MONEY ORDER WHEN THEY DIDNT SHIP ALL MY THINGS, THEY DIDNT SHIP EVEN CLOSE TO HALF INCLUDING MY BED!!



BETTER RATE MOVERS SHIPPED LESS THAN HALF OF MY ITEMS SO UNFORTUNATELY THEY RECIEVED HALF OF PAY.

For the brilliant moving service they did deliver to us there is no reason I do not give them the full rating. As I had work till the last day at my old place, I was so busy to help myself shift to the new apartment I had got near my new job at Washington, DC. So I had to hire a professional mover who would have done this for me. I am thankful to my colleague who recommended Better rate movers to us! And that was a really lucky day since this moving team did not bother me with silly questions or absurd moves. They did it gently, quietly and very nicely. I am very pleased and would be glad to recommend them.

We had a very stressful time up to the moving date but I have to say on the day we couldn’t have had better service. They arrived early and set about the task immediately. They were courteous, had gentlemen attitude and their aim appeared to be to get the job done promptly, efficiently and securely - as well as to ensure that I was protected from the stress of moving. We just laughed and relaxed and stopped worrying as everything was taken care of. I felt I had friends around me. We would highly recommend Better rate movers and especially Alen and the crews. I was not keen on moving all on my own. So I hired Better rate movers. They have a great reputation and frankly, I just wanted to be stress-free. They delivered on the promise. Firstly, they quoted very rationally, unlike some other fancy companies. Their men were all very professional. You can guess that just by seeing how properly dressed and efficient they are. They were definitely taking extra care of my glassware. They knew which furniture to load first not to overcrowd the vans later on. They really maximized the space they got in the vans. I was very impressed by their skills and efficiency. I will totally recommend them.

I don’t know how many people move by them without hiring a moving company; there’s just too much to do. I have heard stories of people losing their boxes on the way, terrible movers damaging their furniture and so on. I hired Better rate movers for my move from Astoria, NY to Union City, NJ. The men they sent were very meticulous in their job. When all my stuffs were delivered in NJ. None of them were damaged or lost. I suppose, all those stories about moving companies don’t apply to this particular one. I am a very happy customer!

I don't understand why there are so many good reviews for this company unless it's people who work for them. I am severely disappointed with them. They have not been helpful and will not answer my questions. Customer service is the worst! But the "dispatchers" are by far the lowest scum of the earth. I will never EVER go with them again.

Better rate movers helped us in our last month move. The van they brought for the move was modern, well equipped, clean and perfect size for the job. All the staff and crew were polite, very helpful and competent, eager to assist at every junction. They have set a new benchmark for my future moves. All our belongings were nicely packed. Moved the fragile and plant pots with extra care and attention! Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was as hassle free as any major move can be and we were really pleased & satisfied.

Would happily recommend Better rate movers to anyone who is about to move home. From the initial inspection through to the completion of the move the whole process was undertaken in a very professional and efficient manner. The crews along with their supervisor Alen on the day were very helpful and courteous and always asked us questions if they have any confusion about a particular item. They also patiently listen to our queries and helped us to understand, making life easier for us in the early stages. We are highly satisfied with the service we received from them.

I was really confused because so many moving companies and only one to choose. But the irony is only handful of those companies are good. So, I was very careful while selecting a moving company for my move. I collected quotes from several movers. Though I had few cheaper offers than Better rate movers but I assigned them for my move. I hired them because of their reputation. When I spoke with their sales rep Fred it was clear that they knew what they have to do. Their movers arrived on time, played their role perfectly, stayed calm and focused, worked as a cohesive unit, took extra care of the fragile items and never running behind the schedule. Finally it was a picture perfect move within the allotted time and quoted amount.

Few days ago I got a perfect move. It's more than perfect!!! I never thought I would experience such move in my life. The workers came on time; wrapped everything accurately, even they provided extra care on the fragile items; reached the destination on time and arranged the products like an interior designer. Beside this they did some extra: providing chocolate to my kids, taking care of my pets. Wow! Really unimaginable. I am gladly recommending Better rate movers.

Great team, they were very professional and very nice. They explained the process fully and I had no surprises since the sales rep that I had explained in detail to me what was going to happen moving day. I did add in a few items and some packing so my price went up a little but I did know that that was going to happen. I would definitely recommend Better rate movers to my friends and family.

We have a 200 gallon aquarium in our house and that was a real concern when we had to move out of New York last month. It was nearly impossible for us to shift it to the new place of residence. I thought of selling it since I figured it would break anyways. Then my cousin sister advised me to hire better rate movers to help us move. The trucks were clean and crew was pleasant to work with. Better rate movers is far more organized than my last mover. My client informed me the same after I called to see how the delivery went. I will us them again in the future.

I have used these guys twice in the last 2 years for moves and been very happy both times. Terry was the head of a 3-men crew each time and I've found him very professional and easy to deal with. They did a great job: fast, thorough, and careful. The other guys on each time were also been great. Moving isn't cheap, but using Better rate movers is a good investment. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

I have decided to use Better rate movers out of many options and they have kept my faith on them. The sales rep Mike offered the best possible price and his team delivered world class service. They are highly skilled, experienced and committed. The way they accomplished the move all the way from New York to Clifton was something great to experience. All I want to say that this is one of the finest moving companies around if you are moving across the country.

I am glad that I made the right choice hiring Better rate movers. I could have gone with a cheaper company but I hired these guys because of their reputation and that paid off. They moved us from NY to NJ in record time and within the estimated amount. Apart a broken glass nothing was damaged or dented. Being honest, they did a lot more than what I was looking for.

I have used many movers in the past because I have to relocate very frequently because of the nature of my job. However, though I used many movers but none were able to satisfy me. Actually I am not easy to impress. But these movers impressed me a lot by their service and price. The way they managed my entire move was simply great. They showed that they are real movers, who have solutions for all kind of problems and they showed that they are as speedy as Ferrari. I was amazed to watch them doing an outstanding job for me. I am very impressed and happy on them. I am sure that I will be using them for my coming moves.
