THEY SUCK, NOT BBB ACREDITED RECEIVED A D- WITH THE BBB, GOT SUED BIG TIME AND OPENED UP UNDER ANOTHER NAME!

Map Quest them they dont even have a ligetimate office, it's the back of some old warehouse!!!



They have paid answering service not customer service and they be warned they will take a itemized list of what you have then when they arrive at your home, TELL YOU IT GOES BY CUBIC FEET AND DEMAD MORE MONEY!!!

I PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON A MONEY ORDER WHEN THEY DIDNT SHIP ALL MY THINGS, THEY DIDNT SHIP EVEN CLOSE TO HALF INCLUDING MY BED!!



BETTER RATE MOVERS SHIPPED LESS THAN HALF OF MY ITEMS SO UNFORTUNATELY THEY RECIEVED HALF OF PAY.

For the brilliant moving service they did deliver to us there is no reason I do not give them the full rating. As I had work till the last day at my old place, I was so busy to help myself shift to the new apartment I had got near my new job at Washington, DC. So I had to hire a professional mover who would have done this for me. I am thankful to my colleague who recommended Better rate movers to us! And that was a really lucky day since this moving team did not bother me with silly questions or absurd moves. They did it gently, quietly and very nicely. I am very pleased and would be glad to recommend them.

I was moving from NY to CT. I hired Better rate movers after a recommendation from my boss. When I called them, they seemed very friendly. I was handed a quote that seemed only reasonable. Their movers arrived right on time to pack up everything. I wasnt sure how efficient they would be. But they packed up everything very fast with precision. Its a good thing that they were fast because it saved me a lot of money. They made the delivery on time and nothing was damaged. All the boxes and furniture arrived safely. The final bill didnt exceed the initial estimate. It was a very happy relocation with a reliable moving company.

We had a very stressful time up to the moving date but I have to say on the day we couldn’t have had better service. They arrived early and set about the task immediately. They were courteous, had gentlemen attitude and their aim appeared to be to get the job done promptly, efficiently and securely - as well as to ensure that I was protected from the stress of moving. We just laughed and relaxed and stopped worrying as everything was taken care of. I felt I had friends around me. We would highly recommend Better rate movers and especially Alen and the crews. I used better rate movers just few days ago for a move from New York to Virginia. Movers arrived on time and packed and moved all my belongings in one piece and without any damage and well within the scheduled time. I had the elevator reserved for. I never experienced such professional movers before. I also felt that they were quite reasonable with whatever they charged me for their world class service. I am very happy with their service and that is why I am taking the time recommending them.

Better rate movers did an amazing job at the beginning of this month; they moved us from New York, NY to Baltimore, MD without causing any damage or scratch on any item. I can only say positive things about them. Not like the movers I used previously, they were sharp and on time, which surprised me. They sent 4 very energetic and professional movers, who loaded up my furniture and moved me to my new residence. Upon the delivery all my furniture was unloaded and carefully unpacked. The movers were very patient with all our requirements. Excellent guys with great work ethic!

I was not keen on moving all on my own. So I hired Better rate movers. They have a great reputation and frankly, I just wanted to be stress-free. They delivered on the promise. Firstly, they quoted very rationally, unlike some other fancy companies. Their men were all very professional. You can guess that just by seeing how properly dressed and efficient they are. They were definitely taking extra care of my glassware. They knew which furniture to load first not to overcrowd the vans later on. They really maximized the space they got in the vans. I was very impressed by their skills and efficiency. I will totally recommend them.

I don’t know how many people move by them without hiring a moving company; there’s just too much to do. I have heard stories of people losing their boxes on the way, terrible movers damaging their furniture and so on. I hired Better rate movers for my move from Astoria, NY to Union City, NJ. The men they sent were very meticulous in their job. When all my stuffs were delivered in NJ. None of them were damaged or lost. I suppose, all those stories about moving companies don’t apply to this particular one. I am a very happy customer!

I don't understand why there are so many good reviews for this company unless it's people who work for them. I am severely disappointed with them. They have not been helpful and will not answer my questions. Customer service is the worst! But the "dispatchers" are by far the lowest scum of the earth. I will never EVER go with them again.

My family is quite tired of moving to new places. This, hopefully, was our last move. This time it was from New York, NY to Houston, TX. I hired Better rate movers because last time we tried to move on our own and it was a disaster. Better rate movers sent over 3 men who were all very well trained and extremely helpful. They didnt cause any damage, not even a scratch, to my furniture. I wasnt really expecting them to be that professional given how low their quote was. But they really surprised me. I think its much more convenient to just hire a moving company who knows how to this job than trying to do it on your own. It was a good lesson learnt and I highly recommend this company.

Better rate movers helped us in our last month move. The van they brought for the move was modern, well equipped, clean and perfect size for the job. All the staff and crew were polite, very helpful and competent, eager to assist at every junction. They have set a new benchmark for my future moves. All our belongings were nicely packed. Moved the fragile and plant pots with extra care and attention! Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was as hassle free as any major move can be and we were really pleased & satisfied.

I am not a person who is easy to impress but Better rate movers did impress me a lot because of their brilliant service and very affordable price. I collected quotes from many companies before hiring any mover and from the quotes, it was clear that they offered me the best deal. So, I booked my move with them. They were simply amazing during the entire move. Movers, sales rep Mike, foreman Terry, everyone played their part to the perfection. Despite of having so many delicate and vulnerable stuffs, nothing was damaged or broken. Thanks a lot guys for the timely completion of the move and for keeping the cost within the estimated amount.

Would happily recommend Better rate movers to anyone who is about to move home. From the initial inspection through to the completion of the move the whole process was undertaken in a very professional and efficient manner. The crews along with their supervisor Alen on the day were very helpful and courteous and always asked us questions if they have any confusion about a particular item. They also patiently listen to our queries and helped us to understand, making life easier for us in the early stages. We are highly satisfied with the service we received from them.

The crews involved in our recent move were smart, courteous and punctual. We asked our estate agent for his opinion on which moving company to use and he had no hesitation in recommending Better rate movers and I too would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody. This is the first time we have used a mover in last 20 years. With the service given, cannot suggest any improvements that could be made. The packing and loading-unloading was second to none, and the actual move from our old house to the new one went without any hitch. We are pleased with the service.

I hired them because of their reputation. When I spoke with their sales rep Fred it was clear that they knew what they have to do. Their movers arrived on time, played their role perfectly, stayed calm and focused, worked as a cohesive unit, took extra care of the fragile items and never running behind the schedule. Finally it was a picture perfect move within the allotted time and quoted amount.

Better rate movers is a great moving company to go with! My move to PA went perfect. My items were very well taken care of. Everything went as planned, my sales rep was there throughout the whole process. The packers and movers of Better rate movers knew exactly how to accommodate my every need. Few days ago I got a perfect move. It's more than perfect!!! I never thought I would experience such move in my life. The workers came on time; wrapped everything accurately, even they provided extra care on the fragile items; reached the destination on time and arranged the products like an interior designer. Beside this they did some extra: providing chocolate to my kids, taking care of my pets. Wow! Really unimaginable. I am gladly recommending Better rate movers.

Fantastic movers! I arranged my move 2 weeks in advance on the phone with Jason, the man in charge. On move day they showed up half an hour early on a Sunday morning which was fine, plus there were 3 of them. They were so fast that I didn't have time to drink a cup of coffee. They were extremely polite and careful with my unwrapped fragile things like mirrors and glass table tops. I ended up paying far less than I thought I would, especially given there were 3 of them moving me. The best thing is that they take care of details that I didn't such as wrapping my fragile stuff, placing things in the new home in logical careful ways, asking me where I wanted things, etc. I recommend Better rate movers to everyone!!

Great team, they were very professional and very nice. They explained the process fully and I had no surprises since the sales rep that I had explained in detail to me what was going to happen moving day. I did add in a few items and some packing so my price went up a little but I did know that that was going to happen. I would definitely recommend Better rate movers to my friends and family.

We just moved from nearby New York, NY to Richmond, VA. We initially decided to just hire a big van and just haul my husbands baby grand piano with the help of a few friends and family. When we started lifting however, it became apparent that the baby grand was just too heavy and my poor husband was worried that we might damage is piano. So, we decided to call Better rate movers. Not only did they transport the piano to our new condo at Richmond. They also did all the heavy work. Now my husbands piano sounded just like it did in our old place.
