Recently, I needed to have the roof replaced on my home in Portsmouth VA. It was a disasterous problem as I live in Connecticut. Kathy Woolf Snyder recommended that I contact SkyeBrynne Enterprises and Glen Sweitzer. I was blessed with finding that Mr. Swietzer is the consummate professional businessman. He guided me through what I thought was a confusing process with the insurance company. He kept me apprised every step of the way as to what he would do and when he would do it. I cannot tell you just how easy Mr. Sweitzer made this whole process. His professional demeanor and his gentle way of educating this client were stellar. If you have any home projects, you would be smart to call Glen Sweitzer. He is a star in my book.

Recently, I had my roof installed and Glenn & his crew were very professional. I have yet to find any roofing nails; they usually find their way to my tires. They arrived on time and if they were running a little late Glenn would call me. I am very pleased with their workmanship and would recommend them to anyone. Job well DONE!!

Skye-Brynn put a new roof on our home. We were comfortable and confident that our trust was not misplaced. They did not disappoint us. They arrived on time and finished on time. They worked hard everyday, despite the 90 degree weather. They took no money up front and we paid nothing until the job was completed and we were satisfied with their work! Thank you for your excellent work. We are very happy with out roof and have received many compliments from the neighborhood!

Once the work got started after a rain delay, it was completed in a day and a half period of time efficiently,skillfully and with care. We recently had Skye-Brynn put a new roof on our home which turned out to be, by far, the best experience we have had with any type of contractor. First, Glen called to let us know when he thought he might be late for our initial appointment. (He wasn't late.) After assessing the job, he presented us with a brief backround of the company and his experience including licenses, insurance certificates and examples of various jobs they had done and an estimate that was very competitive. Anytime I called to ask a question he either answered the call immeditely himself or returned a voicemail message within 10 minutes - even on a weekend. When we finally decided to have the work done, he and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would, were courteous and put in a full day's work. His attention to detail was remarkable. In spite of having to manage other issues, some unexpected, they completed the work well within the time they had committed to. I was somewhat skeptical when I saw all the reviews gave them 5 stars, but now I know why. It's refreshing to have found someone who does well what he says he'll do, have it done on time and for the price quoted with no hidden surprises.

Just had my driveway expanded and received estimates from several area contractors. Skye-Brynn was the only one that showed us their license and portfolio of previous work. The other contractors I spoke with were very misleading and seemed unprofessional. Glenn answered all of our questions and did the job right by obtaining city permits and completing the job as promiced. HIGHLY recommended. Thanks to all at Skye-Brynn for such a professional service!

Glen and his son Dustin and the rest of the crew are more than roofers, they have become our home handymen of choice. They offer services I can't or no longer can do myself. In the past year we have called on Glen to provide a variety of services for us, to include:

1. Install wood grain vinyl flooring through out the house.

2. Install new toilets.

3. Install safety rails in the halls for my 87 year old mother.

4. Replace overhead light fixtures and remove a fan.

5. Enclose a dining room opening with bedroom door.

6. Power wash the deck and all the siding on the house and outbuilding.

7. Install R-30 rolled insulation in the attic.

8. Replace a rusting outside steel door into outbuilding.

9. Replace outside front window shutters.

10. Replace old wood unsafe attic drop stairs with nice aluminum drop stairs.

11. Replace the rusting bathroom exhaust fans.

12. Add wood fencing in the back yard and repair the fence gate.

13. Install hardware into the breaker box with an outside plug for our emergency generator so we do not have to use drop cords but can just plug one cord into the whole house.

14. Took old antenna off chimney and installed a new chimney cap.

15. Repair and replace outdoor security lights with new bulbs.

16. Install safety rails up staircase and around 2nd story opening in outbuilding.

17. Install a ramp from front porch to the driveway for my Mom.

18. Install a new front storm door and a side garage storm door.

19. Replace cement driveway, walk to front porch and sections of front walk.

20. Replace old leaking vinyl gutters with nice seamless gutters.

21. Remove an old attice exhaust fan.

22. And, yes, remove and install new roofing on the house and outbuilding replacing skylights in the process.



So, what is Glen to us? He is our all purpose, on call handyman. As you can see, we have gone back to him for jobs over and over again. Big jobs and small jobs. Will we call on him again in the future - YES

Glen and his very capable team put a driveway in for me March 1, 2011. His professionalism was excellent, along with his crew. The guys showed up early and worked hard every day until the job was done. They definitely went above and beyond for our driveway. Had new shingles and gutter repair work done on house in late February 2011. Very professional, knowledgeable- No nonsense crew! They did a great job! I highly recommend them.

Glen and his son Dustin were very professional as were all the men on the crew. They arrived at my home on a Saturday morning at 7:30 and the job and cleanup were complete by 12:30pm. Our estimate was on the money and there were no surprises.

Once the job was complete my husband and I thanked the men for their service and one of the gentlemen thanked us for the opportunity to do the job. This speaks to the type of business owner that Glen is because his crew shares his same vision and we would recommend Skye-Brynn Enterprises, Inc. to our friends and family.

Group of guys were very professional and fast. Showed up at 7:30 worked hard to get ground ready for cement, cement showed up at 10 A.M. and the whole job other then removing retainers was done by 12:15. I would use skye-brynn again and recommend them to my friends!

I recently had a new roof installed by Skye Brynn Enterprises. Mr. Sweitzer and his crew were professional, prompt and courteous. The job was done professionally, completed on time and on budget. Personally, this was the fourth project I have had Glen do for me in the past seven years. As always, the workmanship was professional and the price fair. I've recommended him to co-workers and they have been very satisfied with his company's service as well. I intend to use Skye Brynn for my future projects. Awesome doesn't begin to describe the workmanship Glen and his crew provided to me and my household. I first met Glen last year through a referral from my brother and sister-in-law and I am so glad I did. I was experiencing a roof leakage in 2 separate areas of my home and Glen and his crew not only repair the leaks but also repair the wall inside my home. The work was done accurately and in a very timely manner. Because of this I just called him again for another roof leak (different location) and once again his performance was outstanding. I can't say enough about the quality of work his company provides, not to mention the reasonable fees. I will definitely recommend his company to everyone I know.

We had storm damage to two of our bedroom where rainwater came in through the windows. Mr Switzer and his son came to our house on a Friday and were extremely professional and thorough giving his estimate. Later that day he called with his estimate and stated that they could start work ON MONDAY! Wow what service! The rooms look beautiful! Thank you so much for your help and we will definitely call you again when we need work done on our house.

I would like to thank Mr. Sweitzer and his crew for a well done roof and gutter job. There were a few bumps in the road, but all it took was a phone call to get it resolved. His son and crew were always polite and appropriate when on the job. He does stand behind his work.
