Walsh was one of seven moving companies I called to get pricing information and their hourly rate and time minimum were both lower than that of their competitors.

The price was really fair, especially since they worked so fast. Most places I called had a minimum of 3-4 hours, but the minimum at Walsh was just 2 hours. A lot faster and cheaper compared to 3-4 hours, or renting a truck yourself, or hiring young bucks who don't know what they're doing. These guys even remembered the bed placements and matching the mismatched box springs right!

I hired Walsh Moving and they delivered as advertised. Larry and Cecil moved swiftly and handled my items with care. I am pleased with the overall experience and would recommend them for anyone looking to make a move.

We recently moved cross country from LA to MD and needed to move our belongings as cheaply as possible. After getting quoted over $5000 for essentially books, clothes, dishes, and a bed by national moving companies, my friend advised me to call Walsh. I'm so happy I did. Not only was the price less than half of the larger companies, but we were able to take a few more items and save on initial furniture costs at our new destination. Everything showed up a week later an in perfect condition. The crew in LA and MD were very professional and super quick. Ralph assisted us on the business end and was a great source of help. I would definitely use them again if I lived in the SoCal area!

Walsh moved me from Seal Beach, Ca. to Louisville, Ky last month. Their price was way less than the other two estimates I obtained. But, guess what. Their service was OUTSTANDING. Seriously, they wrapped my couch and furniture like a Christmas present. So well protected. Everything came to me in excellent shape. I couldn't believe how friendly and professional the guys were there in California and as well as the guys in Louisville. The driver here in Louisville (darn I forget his name) was super nice, professional, and respectful. Thanks dude for everything! Great service. Friendly. Excellent price. I miss California already....maybe I will have them move me back? LOL

Larry and Frank moved us and they were fantastic! They were friendly and fun but worked very hard and fast! They were efficient about packing loads to go down all our stairs. They brought lots of wardrobe boxes and blankets for fragile/valuable items like our flat screen.

I was impressed that the owner asked so many questions about the layout of my house, quantity of boxes, and size of large items. He was very thorough in assessing our needs. The movers called the night before to confirm the appointment, and they called again in the morning to let us know they were on their way. We were in their loop the whole time.

I've had bad experiences with movers in the past. Not Walsh. These guys showed up on time and worked fast. The final price was less than the quote I was given by telephone. Probably my smoothest move so far. Thanks, guys!

Tom, Chris, Manny and James are awesome folks. On-time, fast and dependable.Setting up the move was easy. Chris and Tom was very accommodating to get a schedule in the morning, a day before the move.They showed up 10mins before plan. Manny and James were very friendly and quick on their feet. I will use them again if I move again.

I was moving from Long Beach to Bakersfield and needed a company willing to do that move. After 2 companies flat out turned me down a third one (unable to do that move as well) was kind enough to recommend Walsh and i'm SO glad they did!! From beginning to end, this was been the greatest experience with a moving company.

Best move ever. I can't imagine a more pleasant experience moving. Maddy and Lari arrived on time, ready to go, and finish the job in half the time estimated. They knew a lot about their business, including things like The right order to move things for efficiency, the right way to place things in the room so that they didn't have to move furniture over and over again, and how to move things without damaging them in an efficient manner. They also knew things above and beyond what is considered normal. For instance how to remove blue putty tape on the walls.

Movers arrived in a timely manner. Movers were courteous and friendly. The movers moved goods in a efficient manner. The move was damage free and I'm very satisfied with Walsh's services. The office staff was helpful and informative. I would definitely use their services again and refer Walsh to any one who is moving.

The guys were diligent, punctual & careful with the items. They were very friendly as well .

Walsh Moving Company provided staff and equipment to move all of the books on the Upper Level of Katy Geissert Civic Center Library in 2004. This involved shelving half of the collection onto carts, then moving those carts to the other side of the large floor. When the floor was half finished, they came back and moved the other half of the collection.

The two workers were the best !

Pick up was on time and each mover was respectful of our items and professional in every way, very hard workers! Truck loaded up, furniture carefully wrapped, fragile items placed carefully in 5 hours! Drop off at our new residence was on time and the same level of professionalism to unload (in the rain) with speed and efficiency as well as care. (mats were laid down to protect the floors and each step was considerate of our items and our home) Chuck the driver was well organized and the unload was completed in 5 hours as well. Not one thing was broken and a box that was misplaced I have all the confidence will be returned. I would highly recommend Walsh movers to anyone moving next door or into another state as we did. Great Job and well done! Tom the owner is always available and very proactive in making the move as painless as it could be as well as very affordable. Once again, job well done! Happy Mover!
