I have been going to Blue for a few years now. I am in my mid 30’s and live in LA I am very social and in “the scene”. So I basically have a lot of pressure to look good & keep up with the crowd I hang with. When I first started going there, I went for a bikini wax. They somehow convinced me to start doing laser hair removal. I did & it was the best investment I ever made. From there I was at their mercy. I now do my facials and ‘Botox’ there & LOVE what they have done for my skin and keeping me looking young (to keep up with the crowd I associate with). My favorite nurse for laser & Botox is Dolly, and my favorite esthetician is Stacey.

I highly receommend Blue for Laser Hair Removal. It's a safe & effective treatment that delivers unbeleivable results.

I never have to deal with shaving, razor burns, or ingrowns again.

A couple months ago I visited Blue Spa because I was interested in some facial treatments to even out skin tone and minimize discoloration. After a brief consultation I was advised to try an IPL photofacial treatment and of course they recommended buying multiple ones in a bulk "package" (virtually saving $100 per treatment). So naturally I got suckered in...very hard to resist a deal like that! I purchased 4 treatments "the package" for about $1600 ( the treatments on their own are $500 a pop so a savings of $400 in my mind). About 5 mins later I was being prepped for my first treatment, giving me just enough time to sign paperwork and briefly read their policies, of course the words "no refunds" definitely stood out. Anyhow after my first treatment I was fine, the second however made my skin totally freak out and I had a major break out. I went through with the 3rd treatment and pretty much the same thing happened. Ok, enough is enough, I pretty much had to go to a dermatologist to get my skin straightened out and decided not to move forward on my 4th treatment. Basically my skin was worse off then before I got the treatments. So now I'm trying to recoup some of the costs of the treatment. I realize that they have a strict no refund policy so I'm not even trying to get my money back for the first 3 treatments, all I want is a refund for the treatment I never had done, sounds reasonable right? So I speak with the manager and she says in order to do that she needs to break "the package" and charge me for individual treatments at $500/each. Basically only giving me a refund of $100. Then I ask if instead of a refund can I use the $400 toward other services they offer in the spa. Again, manager says she needs to break the package leaving me with just $100 dollars credit. Last resort. I ask if the treatment can be transferable to friend, since I'm not going to use it, maybe a friend would have a better experience and get some use out of it. NOPE...can't do that either. Basically they were no help at all.



So I would advise people considering this facility to beware of this spa, especially their "package" deals
