I requested a quote for a leak discovered under the house when completing an earlier-quoted job. I again requested Steven Winslett, who did this earlier work excellently, and spotted this new issue, which involves my HVAC condenser in the attic! I don't know yet if my HVAC installers will correct it, but Steven determined the source of the leak, called his experts to ask about code regs, and also suggested a fix. ...All for no charge. I remain impressed by Steven's ethics and mastery, plus his taking extra steps to ensure I had all the facts. Excellent marks all around, again.

Two guys came to fix my sink that was clogged. They were quick and the price was great. Very easy and both were friendly

This company is professional and punctual. I was impressed with their technician. They are not the cheapest plumbers in town but worth the difference.

I had used Bill Howe before with no problems except for high prices. This week I had someone come in to replace water spout from the tub. he was finished in 1/2 an hour. Then he went to his truck 10 times to waste time I'm assuming. He claims he was there for 1 and 1/2 and charged me. i didn't argue with him so i called to complain and they say they have a GPS system that proves he was there for that length of time. So if he parks and waits outside of your house and waste time customer pays. What a great system. Will never use this company again.

This company had bad customer service. There prices were really high.

Several years ago we had two pipes under our slab developed leaks, so we had your company line our pipes to prevent further leaks. Unfortunately evidently one of the pipes did not take the lining well and we had a new leak a couple months ago. I called your office and talked to the Customer Service person about the leak and the lining and he said he would get back to me, he said he had to look up the contract. He called back shortly and told me that he would send a service person out the next morning.



He sent out Javier Vidaca, a truly professional person, he identified the problem and located the leak and recommended that due to it being the same pipe as before, that they reroute it through the wall, which he did in a professional and timely manner. I was extremely impressed by his courtesy, knowledge, workmanship, and professionalism.



After he finished, your Customer Service person sent out Roger Llanos, 4Tres remodeling (Gustavo Flores) to repair the wall. Roger was also very professional and did an excellent job of repairing the wall and painting them (which was a problem because our painters had labeled the paint container incorrectly).



I want to thank you for fixing the leak in a timely manner and express my thanks for the professionalism of repairmen that you sent out.

We recently were in need of a plumber so we like most people starting searching on the internet. After contacting several companies on an early Sunday morning we decided to have bill howe plumbing come out to our home. We have seen the commercials and heard their name lots of times so we gave them a try. The plumber that was sent out came quickly, fixed the problem, and was on his way. -Matt J.

I engaged Bill Howe Plumbing to do a camera inspection of drain pipes. When making the appointment I was told the inspection would be without charge and that the cost to repair by epoxy lining would be $125 per foot. The appointment was made for 10 AM. No one showed up at that time. At 11:30 I called and was told that they had rescheduled the appointment for the afternoon. No one had called to reschedule. They finally showed up 3 hours late, at 1:00 PM. That was the best part - that they were only 3 hours late. The rest of their customer service was even worse. The two plumbers who showed up were rude, did not know how to operate their pipe camera, and decided that they did not want to do the inspection for free. They said they would charge $250.00 because "people did not always have the repairs done after getting the estimate to repair." When I reminded them the company said the inspection was without charge, they said they did not have time to do the inspection that day and had to leave. They packed up their equipment and left. I called the manager of the company to try and reolve the issue but she was a bad as her employees. She denied that Howe inspected pipes for free and said it was a mistake that I was told the inspection would be free. I called another company who came out the next day. Guess what? the inspection from the second company was without cost. Do not trust Bill Howe. They will quote you one price on the phone and demand another when they get to your home.

when i made my first appt. the the heating & air girl she was very rude, however the man they sent (roman i think) was extremely nice. for in office customer service i give bill howe a 1star, but for feild technicians cust service i give a 5star!

My water heater was leaking. I called several plumbers including Erling Rohde of La Jolla, who came out and said I needed a new water heater for $950.00; Emery Plumbing who wold not give a written quote and was rude and over the phone told me it would be $1400 and refused to come out unless they were going to do work; and Bill Howe plumbing who came out within an hour of my calling. Jose was very prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. he asked alot of questions and it turned out that the valve that you use to drain the water eahter was cracked and that was the problem. the fix cost me $158.00. I see others have not enjoyed such good service, but all I can say is "Thanks Bill Howe!", they saved me about $800! It helps when the plumber actually comes out and looks at the equipment first =)

I had Bill Howe Plumbing come out on short notice to fix a plumbing problem in the copper pipe coming up to the house. They were there quickly and did a very good job. I will use them again in the future.

We hired Bill Howe Plumbing to plumb a guest bathroom remodel. They used a trainee for part of the work but did not check his work. When the guest bath was finally used a year later a leaking connection caused extensive water damage. They came back and misidentified the source. We found and fixed the leak ourselves, a threaded connection which was not leak checked under pressure as it should have been. They wouldn't pay a penny for our damages. We had been loyal customers for at least 12 years. I think they have grown too large to worry about customer service anymore.
