Provided by YP.comFor kids that go to Saint Louis University, FrontDoor is practically a right of passage into the world of upperclass undergrad. I remember when I was a freshman, looking forward to moving off campus and knew I'd live in FrontDoor because that is where all my friends lived.
I am now a current tenant and am very glad I chose this company. Everyone in the office is very accomodating and my maintenance requests have been done quickly and efficiently. I see so many negative reviews online, which I find so surprising. I think many of them are unmerited, because everyone I know as well as myself have had a phenomenal experience with FrontDoor.
I also like that I can stay with this company after I graduate, since they have properties all over Saint Louis, not just on Lindell Strip. I looked at the Loop Lofts yesterday, and was seriously impressed.
FrontDoor is an honest company made up of good people. I can't speak for everyone else, but I have had a great experience with FrontDoor.

Provided by YP.comif you don't mind me asking, which building are you in. I just recently signed a lease for an apartment in The Grove area and was under the impression that due to the gut rehab and state of the art insulation i wouldn't be bothered b by the noise.

Provided by YP.comFirst off, I would like to make sure you dont make decisions based on reviews being that reviews are very bias because only people who are extremely pleased or displeased will take the time to write a review.
Second, I dont get all this complaining. I moved into the property the Loop Lofts and yes the walls are thin. I can hear the neighbor next to me when she plays her music too loud. The neighbor above me, ya I can hear her walking around but if you want your place to be dead quite then-
1. You shouldnt live in the city.
2. You should buy a house.
3. Get a more expensive apartment
Ya you heard number 3 right, I dont get what all these people are complaining about. Look into the pricing, and I dare you to compare. They are very affordable for the area.
Back to the noise situation, the staff has been very helpful. My property has 24 hr security and if you ever have a problem, they will help AND the security notifies managment and management has a talk with the tenants as well. So I wouldnt believe all these angry people on her.
I think the management reallly seems to care about thier residents, so I cant speak for these other tenants but I have had really good experience with them so far. And they have like 40 properties, to it would be really easy to blow me off and get carried away with other stuff, but they dodnt, so dont listen to the angry people on here, realize that in our population that 5%-10% of people have anger problems, so naturally 5-10% of people renting from Front Door have anger problems, so of course they are going to find something to be angry about.
I digress, I dont know what these people expect when you move into an apartment in the city. These properties are rented to many students so expect that and dont move here if you are not okay with an occasional disturbance.
Overall,
Noise- I wouldnt give it 5 stars because of the noise problems but if I rated the managements helpfulness with trying to control the boise problems then I would give them 5 stars.
Rent- Is really cheap. $875 for like 900sq/ft and a w/d and gated parking and all utilities included AND in the city. I challenge you to show me a place that can beat that?!
Management- Super nice, everyone, they are really busy and may take time getting back to you but come on now, all properties are like this- its apartment living, NOT LUXURY RESORT LIVING, ITS APARTMENT LIVING!
The place- I love my apartment, super big, super unique, I just love it all together and I love the fact that someone is restoring these old buildings instead of tearing them down, it gives it some character.
The internet does get spotty at times, but I heard they dont have this problem in building B.
Also snow removal is spotty, but its no worse than the residential streets around STL.
I have had some stories about moving out and them taking your deposit and charging bogus fees, i sincerely hope this isnt tru, but I guess I will find out sooner or later. So that would be really the only thing bad about Front Door, and I dont even know if this is true. They assued me on move in that this wouldnt be the situation BUT I know that what people tell you and what ends up happening can be very different.
