Founded in 1947, Phoenix Symphony is a group of more than 75 musicians who perform various concerts. It is a professional orchestra that serves over 300,000 people every year with nearly 270 concerts and presentations. The group organizes classical and pop concerts. It also offers music for youths through a variety of education, community and youth-engagement programs. Phoenix Symphony includes Symphony Hall, Mesa Arts Center, Orpheum Theatre, Scottsdale Center for the Arts and the Dodge Theater that provide seating arrangements for patrons with wheelchair requirements.
