falling microwave

Company was called out from American home shield warranty to fix an above stove microwave. This service was called several years ago. The person came out was very quiet fixed the microwave and re-installed it, he then left in a hurry. Years later I used a step ladder to rearrange some of things up there, (the cabinets above are very rarely used and accessed via stepladder) I then discovered that there was a bolt in the cabinet looking around I discovered that it was one of three bolts holding the microwave in place keeping it from falling, in total one bolt was missing (still haven't found), one bolt wasn't installed and the one that was installed was only 3/4 in the microwave. I tried to install the bolt that wasn't installed but the bolt wouldn't go in properly. I had to take the microwave down to take a look and discovered that the receivers on the microwave were not properly installed. I managed to fix the issue myself but I am now concerned that the microwave itself might have not been fixed properly. This was also very dangerous because the microwave could have fallen on top of somebody and seriously hurt them. I have already filed a formal complaint with American home shield in this regards.

Wish I could select negative amount of stars!! 1 star is too much!! HORRIBLE experience!

I am an American Home shield client and they sent this company to fix my appliance .. 4 VISITS - Several Parts And over a month without a WASHING MACHINE!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable!! Tec became rude and nasty after having to return the 4th time! Maybe if they fixed it right the first time .... .. hmmm

The worst contractor experience ever

I have never had a more negative experience with a contractor than the experience that I have had with Appliance Resource & Rescue. After coming out to my home to examine my broken washer, I was told that they would be ordering a part the next day. The next day came and went, as did the entire next week. I made multiple calls to the contractor and received no response. Whenever I was lucky enough to actually get someone to answer the phone, they were not able to help me, and simply said that their supervisor would call me back, which didn't happen. I even asked for the supervisor's phone number and I was told that they were not allowed to give out his phone number. After paying Appliance Resource & Rescue $75 for a service call and waiting for 3 weeks, with no response, I have had to start from scratch with a new repair company. This has been a horrible experience and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through this.

They Must've Made Serious Changes

Well, first things first, I have read every single review on here and I am very surprised. I am not sure who April and Crystal are, but they have a woman by the name Sheena that now works there. I have not seen her name in any of these reviews so it looks like no one has any complaints about her or hasn't gotten the chance to work with her. I'm not sure what her role is, but it seems like she wears many hats, and she is damn good at her job, that is what I do know. My calls are ALWAYS answered and worst case scenario if my call is missed and I have to leave a voice mail, I get a call back within 30 minutes TOPS. Josh (the Owner not the technician, looks like a few of you get the two confused) and her work as a team to get things done, I'm not sure who else is behind the scenes but those are the people I deal with every time I use Appliance Resource as a company or refer them to someone. If I have a question that she is out of her range or department and needs to be transferred to Josh, it gets transferred and I get a call and resolution the same day. It gives me that old school feel of courteous customer service to hear from the boss instead of someone that takes their job too seriously and wastes my time. There's nothing like people who keep their word in this day and age. I was referred them to them by my warranty company at first and I was beyond pleased. Sheena kept me posted on the parts that needed to be ordered, as well as appointment or parts delays or updates. There was an instance where the technician was running about an hour behind and she called to give me a heads up, which I appreciated not only because I could've been left in the dark like the previous company (whom I will not name) but also because I was able to run an errand. I believe the technician that came to fix my washer was named Adrian and he was very courteous. I have had a lot of contractors in my home due to renovating it and he was the first person that understood that he was a guest in my home. He cleaned up after himself and was very respectful. I was so pleased with their service that I decided to have them clean the coils on my refrigerator (which was not under warranty) and the technician that came out, I cant remember his name, I think it was Shahim or something of that effect, did an OUTSTANDING job. I offered a tip and he refused even though I insisted. Now that's what I call excellence at its finest. As a whole, to all of you that have had a bad experience with this company, it seems like they have made some major changes and I have no complaints nor have I had any from my friends and neighbors that I referred and they were not warranty covered.

Great Service By Technicians

I was referred to this company a few months back (shouldn't have taken me this long to write a review) by a neighbor who had some work done on their washer and dryer and they received excellent customer service and gave major praise on getting their appliances fixed so I decided to give them a shot. My appliances were not under warranty so I was taking a gamble working with them as a paying customer. To make a long story short, I had a refrigerator and ice maker that needed service and I had been procrastinating on getting my microwave serviced because I was gonna throw it out and get another. Surprisingly they QUICKLY assessed and fixed the issues on my ice maker and microwave. My refrigerator however, needed more than I thought and they went over and beyond to overnight parts for me, sending their lead technician out, as well as giving me a discount on cleaning my coils. I can not express enough how brilliant this company is. I have my own business and I refer my clients to them for appliance repairs, commercials and residential.

OUTRAGED

I'm totally outraged with this company. I went without a refrigerator for 14 days and nobody could tell me what was wrong or if a part was being ordered or when someone would be back to fix it. I called at least 50 times and got either an answering machine or a full mailbox where I couldn't leave a message. After a week, a service man named "Jeff" called and said someone would be by to look at it. They gave us a window time and of course I was working during that time so I had to leave work early. Wouldn't you know they came before their window time and we missed their service call. Then we called another 50 times to reschedule. Since nobody bothered to call us back, I decided to call the service number that was used the first time and it was a personal phone number. "Jeff" sure didn't like that when I called him at 7am to get answer then. He said he would pass my disappointment along to the manager and someone would call me when the part was in. I've never in my life have dealt with a bunch of idiotic, unprofessional, unorganized business people. Home Depot should be ashamed of using this unreliable company. Shocked that such a top-notch company would even think about using these people.

Horribe company

This company is horrible. I've been trying to have them fix my dishwasher and still waiting for them to actually show up. They will hopefully go out of business soon!!!!

REALLY !!!!

A joke indeed. The part for my oven was on order since July. after 4 appointments with this company, and no shows, I called my warranty company Ameican Home Shield about the FAILER of this businees, I was informed I had to let them in my home to complete the repairs. No, will not do business with them. American Home Shield you need to step up to what you honor in your contract.

So unprofessional!

this place is a joke! A hole in the wall, mom and pops joint that seems to hire uneducated girls like April and Crystal. These girls totally avoided my calls, never returned any of them either. They gave me a time frame of when the part and work would be complete and never owned up to it. I called my home warranty company and complained about the lack of service I received. Do not do business with them, they blow!

Oven repair

Old Republic home warranty sent these guys out to repair convection oven setting on wall oven 3 trips oven still not working They have a F rating with the BBB.Josh Hall is a very rude service owner. Plus he can't seem to fix anything.

Corrupt Company

Home Warranty company called this company out to fix my refrigerator 3 weeks ago. Joshua Hall came out an removed the compressor because he determined that it was bad. I have struggled to get my part back since then or to get him to answer any of my calls. He will only answer to calls from the Home Warranty rep after I called them back to tell them that I cannot get this guy to cooperate. I have left messages daily since then, and he only called back once right after I spoke to the home warranty company. He told me that the part is on order and that it would take 3-days, but still noting. Do not do business with this company!!

DO NOT USE! Fridge is still not working

My Fridge still doesn't work after 3 visits and they miss diagnosed it the first time. I'm using Old Republic home warranty and this is who they sent. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They don't respond on time and have horrible service!

Worst Customer Service Ever, STAY AWAY

The company had to come out three times. The guy didn't know what he was doing and on the last repair didn't even say that it STILL wasn't fixed. Left without doing a full test and now after 2 weeks we don't hava a working stove.STAY AWAY!!!

Dishonorable Business and Service

This company was sent to my home by my home warranty company. I opened my door to a young man in his 20's and to find out only to soon was not qualified to do appliance repair. This company left me with a still broken regrigerator, a broken waterline, a complaint to my home warranty company and 2 days of missing work. He also lied to me. I called him in the morning on the 2nd day to give him the opportunity to make things right. He assured me he would come back and repair my refridgerator that afternoon so I wouldn't have to miss any more work. When I called him he would not answer my calls but when the home warranty company called him while I was on hold he answered for them TWICE!!!! Beware of BAD businesses and this surely is one to stay clear of.

Highly Recommend

The technician showed up on time, which has been a rare occurence in the past for me. The previous company stood me up 2 times after I took off work for the appointment, so I definately appreciated Josh's professionalism. He took the time to complete a thorough check of my broken washing machine, which has been broken for 3 weeks. I was told my part would take 1 week to arrive, and it actually came in 4 days. The technician called me the same day the part arrived and my machine was fixed by the end of the week. Great service!

Bad Company do not use

Rip off BAD service overcharges for terrible service. Came to service the dryer and then left the washer unplugged. Overcharged me double the cost of vent cleaning. Unprofessional beyond words in every way, then had the nerve to insult me and abuse me when I called to complain. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

microwave&washer

my washer and microwave is fixed thanks to appliance resource rescue...came out and did a great job...my microwave kept turning off and on they said it was the fan,they replace it now it works fine and my washer lid sensor needed replace josh replaced it and my washer is perfect...thank you appliance resoucres rescue!!!!!

Waited around for a technician for 4 hours. Never showed. Company said he was on his way. Never showed. Finally a call back after two days explaining that they ordered the wrong part. Same technician came back out. Refused to help with original complaint. No apology for not showing up. Terrible company to do business with.
