I am finishing up the schooling tomorrow for the final test. I totally recommend this school if you are looking at learning how to bartend. The two instructors are both bartenders, and they have been for a few years. They both are very nice, and are really there to help you learn. It is very hands on. If you arrive to class early, you can go behind the bar, and start practicing yourself. You get a book with all the kinds of drinks in them, so if you study them, and then practice them while there, you will totally learn. You get to go behind the bar and learn handson every class. They also teach alot of tricks to the trade, that will help you as you go, along with street smart aspects, that I totally appreciate. So if you are looking at learning, if you do it the way you should, and study, you cant not learn how to bartend!

I am so happy my good friend recommended this school. The teachers here are so kind and very understanding. Diane and Deva were my teachers and they made everything to simple and they are such awesome people as well. The schedules are also really flexible too, especially since I still had school and work. The atmosphere is really inviting and I love that we learned the "street smart" techniques of bartering. Honestly don't waste your money on some place that takes two weeks when you can go to Bar Star for 8 days and still learn everything you need to know. It's definitely worth it!

I would highly recommend BarStar. The instructors are all AWESOME. They definitely teach you the basics, but also because of their years of bartending experience they give real life advice that you can't get taught through a textbook. BarStar's environment really prepares you for what it would be like to have a real bartending job. They have a full blown bar set up, with the music, lights, and everything. It is a hands-on environment with plenty of time to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! BarStar is a great investment. The tuition is decently priced, and you definitely get the most out of every cent you put in. It was definitely a great investment, and I can't wait to get out there and start my own bartending career.

I would recommend this school to anyone! It was fast paced and they give you all the material a basic bartender will need to succeed in any gig they may be hired for! Plus they include a bar kit and the RAMP certification in the VIP tuition package. I feel like I am prepared to finally get a lucrative job and its all thanks to this school!

Great school, the instructors taught me everything that I needed to know about bartending. I recommend this school to anyone whose seriius about bartending.

Bar star is an awesome hands on school to help you get prepared for the world of bartending. There are different instructors ever night that all help and teach in many different ways. I really enjoyed my time at barstar not only was I learning a skill but I was enjoying myself at the same time!

If I told my best friend about this place I would say, "Your a fool if you don't attend this class!" I have learned so much about the 'tricks of the trade' in such a short amount of time that I am still saturating with information, gracefully. The instructors, and the students both helped me build confidence in flare and professionalism it takes to be a bartender. The class is an authentic bar scene that matches any bar experience, of any demographic. The classes hands-on experience, "lectures," and the instructor/student one-on-one basis was the best learning experience I have ever, ever, ever embarked upon!!
