Camp Shi'ini is a remarkable summer camp experience in Pasadena and my boys have enjoyed it since 2009. Their counselors are very attentive and the camp provides a tremendous "bank for the buck" with super exciting activities like archery, horseback riding, canoeing, swimming, a treasure hunt, totem pole painting, and the list goes on and on. I highly recommend the program for anyone! They do an extraordinary job at Shi'ini!!

I strongly recommend Camp Shi'ini. My husband and I learned about this camp from our son's classmates. We started in 2011 and have attended for the last 3 summers. What a wonderful camp program! The activities that Camp Shi'ini features are remarkable. They have archery and swimming and horseback riding, just to name a few. The counselors are very hands-on and the camp is local so my son gets picked up in the morning from our home and then dropped off in the late afternoon once camp has ended. We will be back in '14!

I strongly recommend Camp Shi'ini. My sister-in-law turned me on to it, and boy was she right! My largest concern going in was that my son had a peanut allergy, and we had an incident this past winter at elementary school when the school had sat him next to a peanut-butter-sandwich eating child. Needless to say, Camp Shi'ini took super good care of my son. They mailed me color-coated stickers in advance of the start of camp so that I could properly label my son's lunch bag. Camp Shi'ini allowed me to speak to my child's counselor ahead of time and between he and the camp management, they made absolute sure that my son's lunch bag did not come into contact with any lunches that had peanut products in them. They also took special care to make sure that no children eating peanuts were near my son at lunch time. We will certainly return in 2014, this camp was definitely worth the money and I strongly recommend it to the Pasadena community. It is a fantastic program from top-to-bottom!

Really good camp. I love how they offer door-to-door pick-ups in the morning and afternoon drop-offs too. Their drivers are all top-notch and their camp vans are new each summer. Safety is their top concern and it always shows. I highly recommend Shi'ini.

Camp Shi'ini is a fantastic summer children's camp in Pasadena with a terrific staff and a vast array of activities. My 4 kids all went through the camp and they loved it immunity. My middle son is now a Junior Counselor at the camp and loves it as much as he did as a kid. The camp's activities are really good, and there is no other camp in town with archery shooting AND horseback riding AND canoeing AND swimming AND totem pole painting, etc. These guys have it all! Highly recommend it!

Really good camp ... I sent my son and youngest daughter for the first time this summer and they both had a blast. The camp owners made sure that my kids were placed in the same groups as their friends, which none of the other camps were willing to do. I think it’s great how Camp Shi'ini guarantees that your children can be placed in the same group as their friends and then keeps their promise. We will be back for sure! -Brenda Chang

My next-door-neighbor had sent her kids to the camp for the past 3 years and this year I decided to send my 2 sons. It was a remarkable experience for them. They both loved the archery shooting and the canoeing. I like how both of the owners (Noah and Peter) are onsite all of the time and the staff is superb. I also like how the swimming program is at P.C.C. in a CLEAN pool with QUALITY lifeguards and fantastic overall facilities. Other camps use private homes' pools and that has always scared me and my husband. Camp Shi'ini really gets it right. We are coming back next summer!

This is the best camp in Pasadena and it has been for years. My daughter started attending in 2006 as a 4-year-old and is still attending. She looks forward to it every summer. Camp Shi-ini is worth every penny. Money definitely well spent!

My boys have attended this camp for a few years now and they love it. My wife and I love it too and Camp Shi'ini has the safest environment around. It was very crucial for us to know that counselors were top-quality, and Camp Shi'ini has the best staff in town by far. Our family has tried other camps in the past and nobody comes close to the quality and care given by Camp Shi'ini. It is a fantastic summer program.

I attended Camp Shi'ini in the early 1980s and I now send my son and daughter ever summer. The Kazanjian Brothers do an incredible job managing the camp and the counselors are the best in the city. Everyone is so thoughtful and so caring toward the kids. The amount of attention and supervision given to the campers is far better than any of the other summer camps in Pasadena and the activities are truly amazing. My kids love their interactive treasure hunt storyline and talk about 365 days a year! Three cheers for Camp Shi'ini and the remarkable team of counselors they have! Bravo!

My son attends Camp Shi'ini every summer and refuses to try anywhere else – it's that good! He comes home every day happy as a clam, talking about all their great adventures. The camp has a storyline of sorts, where the campers and a team of costumed heroes are after a treasure, but costumed villains are trying to stop them. My son tells me stories about epic water balloon battles and massive treasure hunts that he has experienced at the camp. I highly recommend Camp Shi'ini. It is a very magical place and the counselors take sure tremendous care of the kids, it's fantastic. The Fisher Family loves everything about Camp Shi'ini!!

I have sent my girls to Camp Shi'ini since 2011 and they have the time of their lives every summer. These 5 weeks of adventure that they have at the camp are truly remarkable. They love the archery and canoeing, and every year each of them brings home a beautiful 3.5 foot tall authentic wooden carved totem pole that they have painted. They take such pride in showing me their totem poles and we have all of them on display in our den. We're looking forward to returning next summer as usual!

On behalf of my family, WE LOVE Camp Shi'ini! We were lucky enough to have learned about Camp Shi'ini from a family on our street, their two kids had attended camp for a couple, they loved it and we gave it a try, and from the start we have been Raving Fans! Everyday when my son comes home from camp I get a 30 minute play by play of the days events! The only down side has been when camp comes to an end for the season, he gets sad that another year at Camp Shi'ini has ended. The Camp counselors have been great, all the activities, wow! A BIG thank you to everyone who makes this camp SO special, especially Peter & Noah! You will be seeing our family at camp for many years to come!
