Cops. They hang around and deter crime. I get that. All we do is make a mess when your fryers or vents hood ignites and your Resturant has to be shut down for two days due to health department requirements I r we have to use a bit of floor space to preform c p r on a patient. So. Sir, as far as a pat on the back for a job well done or a hot cup of coffee ……we'll wait till we get back to the fire house or call the Red Cross.

BOYCOTT! Tom Meyers, the owner of this location, fired a hard working long time employee because she asked if the restaurant or corporate McDonalds could pick up the tab for breakfast for firefighters battling a blaze nearby. The store feeds policemen free but declined to feed the firemen. So the employee paid $83 out of her own pocket. When a 2nd group came in to eat a group of employees also paid for their food. When it was brought to the attention of Mr. Tom Meyers that the restaurant should pick up the tab in lieu of the minimally paid workers, the girl who paid out of her pocket to feed public servants was fired. I will never eat in this McDonald's restaurant again, nor any other McDonald's location. Nor will any family member and I'm going to tell everyone I know about this incident in order to encourage them to no longer support McDonald's. Tom Meyers and McDonald's should be ashamed of themselves. It's NEVER wrong to do the right thing.

Also heard about firing a good employee because she wanted McDonalds to pick up breakfast for firemen. This employee was doing a great loving act of respect and appreciation to the Firefighters. Never should have been fired. The cheap owner should have paid. I hope he loses a lot of business over this wrong.

No wonder why this is a 1 star restaurant...Tom Meyers, how could you fire a mother of two for honoring the people that may one day save your life??? Yeah, we know who you are....even out here in northern CA. We all hope you are "enjoying" the national attention.....unbelievable!

untrustworthy greedy pig

The owner fired a battling low paid young mother for a gesture of goodwill she provided to firefighters out of her own money because the greedy pig wouldn't do it. Then after abusing her he fired her for swearing. "This is freaking ridiculous" is fully justified and not swearing fool. Then he tried to pretend he didn't fire her for the gesture of goodwill. Total lying woman abusing pig

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, firing a good employee for being generous just goes to show what kind of douchbag runs this place. I wish the best for the woman that got fired she deserves better than to work for this bottomfeeder

To hear of them firing an employee whose honest attempt was to express goodwill and in the process increase the goodwill of McDonald's , is inhuman, stupid and unworthy of being patronized. Ronald McDonald must be turning in his grave. I'm a retail store owner in MO. If she was not far away, I would hire her instantly. The manager is a puppet, an executive takes an on the spot decision. The young miss is the executive, the manager a poor example of employee. Ridiculous at best.

Tom Meyers needs to get his head out of his buns and see he light of a good deed. All this fuss for less than $100- and you can watch your business go right down the drain. Greedy corporate snots.

Unbelievable. Firing a single mom who has worked here for 8 years after she spends $83 of her own money to feed firefighters? And all because she has a disagreement with her Supervisor? If I was fired every time I didn't see eye to eye with my boss, I'd be fired every week... Grow up McDonald's!

Fired for Feeding Firefighters

A grateful employee was fired after her and other employees pitched in to buy breakfast for firefighters battling a nearby fire. Management fired her after firefighters called to complain that since the store (that has picked up police officer tabs in the past) declined her request for the store or corporate to help pick up the tab for the second group of firefighters that morning. Instead, they refused and she and other employees passed the hat and paid for all the firefighters breakfasts. McDonalds ... YOU SUCK!!

really

I've never seen such a understaffed McDonald's in my life.. let alone for the past 2 weeks having the way the least 15 minutes in the drive thru.. the way inside is exactly the same with 3 to 4 workers on a busy Saturday night.. how many with a playa there do not get through.. yet we're test early let down by the so called fast food service provided.. Bever ties if they need help however they do not hire.. very rarely can you order something with modifications and it comes out correct.. they were not always like there's only the last month or so.. has been absolutely horrible.. corporate headquarters has been emailed and notified.
