Before you hire anybody to fight the IRS, myself included, be prepared for a long battle. My battle took almost 6 years but Polston was there every step of the way. They saved me over $100k and I can finally put all of this behind me. God bless you all.

Overall, very professional experience. I was a little frustrated that at one point I had a new attorney and that the communication was sometimes spotty at times. Despite this, Kylie and Christian did an exceptional job in resolving my liability in a way that didn't break the bank or make life any more difficult on my family. I save tens of thousands of dollars on my liability and I'm able to breathe again.

Polston Tax has been handling my business taxes for a few years now and I can honestly say they are the best I have ever had to deal with.

If there were more stars available - I would give them. I have been with Polston for 5 years now and will stay with him for however long he is doing this! My first contact with him was because I had forgotten to file my taxes one year (did the file for the extension thing - then forgot). Because of that the IRS decided to go back and check a few years and decided that I owed them tens of thousands. Rod didn't judge, he dug in and saved me thousands.
Use him, he's worth his weight in gold!

Be warned! Do not believe the advertising and canned William Shatner endorsements.

They are big on promises and lip service and terrible at actually addressing and resolving individual tax and IRS problems. I also paid a large retainer in good faith and every year they filed late, provided vague advice, failed to keep me abreast of what they were doing causing penalties to increase. Polston and his partners are either very bad tax representatives or very effective cons.

Scam They took over $3000 from me and when I could no longer afford to pay they fired me as a client. After a year of demanding a refund I was told because of all my phone calls I would only get back $500 pencil whipping scammers?������������

If I could give them nothing I would! But It's the typical bait and switch. I talked to this female attorney that's so understanding and told me everything that I needed to hear, then guess who stepped out of the picture?!?! I've lost a few thousand dollars and I want it back. I'm in the legal field and if we treated our clients like this, I would expect a lot of complaints. Save your money and go directly through OTC because that's what I have to do now! I can't believe I fell for this song and dance!

This is Rachel Pappy, Vice President for the firm. To clarify, you hired our firm to prepare a tax return which was successfully completed. The tax preparer failed to properly advise on the time the tax return would be ready. As a result, you had to wait to pick up your tax return- I agree that was unacceptable- and we spoke to the tax preparer immediately about his failure to meet our standards of conduct. You are also correct, we have many offices and employees. This provides our clients the ability to meet at a location that’s convenient for them & ensures someone is available to answer their questions. Warning!!! They are just after your money! They Say they are Christians to earn your trust and then they do nothing for you but take your money and lie to you. That's why you will never talk to the same person and they have so many different office locations to keep you chasing them down. I sat in their office and heard phone call after phone just like mine. People in need of answers. So sad they are cons.

Our records show we contacted you in writing to make an appointment to discuss your case with Rod on September 9th, 2014, September 5th, 2014, August 27th, 2014, August 14th, 2014, August 12th, 2014, July 28th, 2014, July 24th, 2014, July 18th, 2014, July 15th, 2014, July 14th, 2014, July 7th, 2014, June 23rd, 2014, June 9th, 2014, and May 28th, 2014. Our most recent request to schedule an appointment was this week itself. On the late tax return filing, you were advised that in order to timely prepare your tax return we require all clients return their tax preparation documents to our firm by the deadline date we set for clients which precedes the filing date of the tax return. As a firm that cares greatly for our clients, we set the deadline date to benefit all of our clients so that their tax returns will be completed in a timely manner. If all clients submitted their documents just days before the deadline as you did, all of our clients would suffer because we would be unable to meet the deadline set by the IRS. After you provided your tax return documents in October 2013 we discussed this with you in October 2013, November 2013, December 2013, January 2014, and via subsequent emails thereafter. As for misrepresentations, empty promises, and the statement "nothing has been done"- we firmly disagree. We have repeatedly provided you wtih a thorough status of your case and provided a full accounting of all the work completed. We have completed all of the filings that were discussed in your consultation and our strategy has not diverted from the plan that was outlined by our attorneys to you. There is nothing that has occurred in your case that we have done that has been detrimental to your case and our attorneys have done an outstanding job of perserving your best interest at every juncture.
