Very Pleased

We are very pleased with Fox Plumbing. They were here for 2 or 3 days to complete this very large job. Before they left, they wanted to make sure we were extremely satisfied and there were a few things that we wanted re-done, like raising the outdoor faucets about 6 inches. They very politely explained to us the reason why it wasn't possible and answered any questions. They were very professional. One of the guys was even going on vacation the next day and he took the time to go back down to the basement to re-cut the pipes that had to be lengthened.

Calling for a plumber is rarely expected or pleasant, but fox minimizes the frustration

As a new homeowner unfamiliar with Seattle plumbers, I opened up the old phone book when I ran into a kitchen sink drain leak. I got one of the big names in plumbing out (I won't mention their name, but S.W.P may be their initials), and though they did a good job, I felt like I was overcharged ($800 for a new sink trap?) A few months later when I had a bathroom sink leak, I did some research and came across Fox Plumbing. They charged by time and materials, which was very different (and ultimately much less expensive) than the expensive "book price" of the previous plumber I used. Moreover, the plumber who came out, Jason, was fast, friendly, professional and his repair was excellent. The dispatcher with whom I set up the appointment was also quite nice. Fox will definitely be my first call in the future . . . though, knock on wood, I hope I won't need to be calling a plumber again anytime soon.

Good service, but EXPENSIVE!!!

They provided me with quick service, but their prices for the labor are incredibly high... Will most likely not use again because of the cost, but they seem to have done a good job.

We are a little suprised with this review. We have done considerable research within our industry and market as to what the market rate is for plumbing service. Our research has found that we are right in the middle of the road on our pricing. Certainly there are cheaper companies out there, however, for the overall service, quality of work, professionalism of our entire staff, and our 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, there is not a better value in the Seattle area. This particular customer had an old toilet that was in need of replacement. Our plumber gave the customer the option to replace the old toilet with a new one, but the customer opted to have us perform a major rebuild of their old toilet. My plumber replaced every component in the toilet and essentially succusfully brought the old toilet back to life. We installed $110.56 worth of parts to repair the toilet and the labor was $251.50. I am certain that you will not find a better value for the work performed. Lastly, we also warranty EVERY plumbing repair that we do with a 1-year warranty on the labor; in the highly unlikely event that our work was to fail, we will redo the job absolutely free.
