Deceptive Sales People - Proceed with Caution. Aptive was going door to door in my neighborhood, offering their services. The deal was you pay almost nothing for the initial service, but then commit to four quarters of follow up visits, each at a substantial cost. The sales guy was really good. He had me convinced I probably had all kinds of insect problems with my house. I told him I had seen a few ants going up and down a downspout near the back door, and of course a few spiders inside, but that was it. I've lived in the house for many years. Admittedly, I hadn't looked thoroughly for other insect problems and wasn't sure what to look for. Anyway, this guy had me convinced that they would find all kinds of things, and that their treatments would flush them out, whereupon I would see more insects as they were fleeing from my house. I'm pretty resistant to sales pitches but signed up out of caution. When the technician came to my house, I asked them to look for any insects as they were performing the treatments. It didn't take long, probably 30 minutes before they were done. The ONLY thing the technician found was some spider webs on the exterior, near the foundation. Meanwhile, I haven't noticed any additional insects since the treatment. I will say that I haven't noticed the ants near the back door any more. But now I'm on the hook to pay HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS over the next year for them to apply additional treatments that are likely very unnecessary, since they found almost nothing the first time. My advice -- have them look and see if they find evidence of insect problems (if you're not sure) before you commit to anything.

It has been really bad, costumer service is terrible, communication within the company is the worst, every time I have a problem is almost impossible to get it fixed, and is always someone else’s fault at the end of the day nothing gets comunicated to no one and that’s just frustrating

Every time Aptive comes to my home to spray for spiders (its a huge problem in my basement,) they go above and beyond expectations! They even found the source of where the spiders are entering the basement, after two years of trying to figure it out with another company. And they put down sticky pads to catch spiders in between sprayings. Thank you Aptive for helping me out so thoroughly

Dan Kelly is always pleasant, and is quick to get the job done. He comes to the door to let me know he's here, gives me time to take my dog out, then continues with his application.

Nava, was extremely helpful with his in depth knowledge of the companys, procedures, overall culture and effectiveness of their product to rid our home of the many arachnids and other creatures. Furthermore, Nava explained what we could expect after the initial spraying. And everything he explained we witnessed in the days after.

Tyler was extremely pleasant and totally humored my kids with all their questions. He did a great job and even found a wasp nest I was unaware of. I have no doubt in the thoroughness of the job he performed. I look forward to seeing fewer bugs than ever, and my kids are looking forward to the next ‘BugBuster’ to come by.
