I've been doing their program for over six months and have lost over 30 pounds . The newly renovated space is beautiful and I always have amazing customer service. You get out of it what you put in so if you're willing to work so will this program.

After i visited the office in Baymeadow road, i decided to take a look at their review just to see what other people think about this place.



Ok, i needed medication refill and prophylactic treatment I then googled " urgent cares " in my area and FirstCoast came up.

Great ! it's only 5 min away from home and my PCP was closed today (03.30.15).



When i got to FirstCoast, the front desk lady asked me if i had an apointment and i said

" I am here for prophylactic treatment and medication refill "

she then looked behind and called i guess the "nurse".

The nurse invited me to the back. All she said was " A refill on blood pressure medication " is not an emergency and tried to send me to CareSpot and CrucialCare.

How do you determine an emergency without assessing your patient ( checking my BP, RR,...)?

I had really bad headache and nausea and knew my BP was elevated.



Hasshe heard of "Clonidine" ?

What about the Prophylactic treatment that i needed?

How do you determine there is no emergency without asking your patient what is the exposure source? ( Flu, needle stick... )



Why did she ask me if i had insurance as she already knew there was no emergency and therefore i was not going to see the Physician?



Unfortunately, some patients do not accurately assess the severity of their symptoms and that is why we rely on the triage team. An initial assessment should be done on every single patient who enters a clinic.



Luckily i went to Baymeadows healthcare and received proper care.

This facility is really nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff are friendly and professional. The medicine and shots actually help you lose weight as well as it curves your appetite. Great place to go to lose weight

first coast md is an awesome place to go if you want to drop those last couple pounds that are always so difficult for women. specially right now during the holiday season when it's so hard to keep the pounds off I loves there lipo shots because they have so many vitamins and it and it's a sure bet that I will drop 5 to 10 pounds even during the holidays! I'm always in and out in less than 15 minutes and the staff is super friendly.

Truly love this place, never a long wait, so friendly.

Have not had any luck losing weight in the past, I have been going to First Coast M.D. for almost 3 weeks and have already seen great results. I would highly recommend them to anyone! The environment is great, as well as the staff. They make you feel very welcome are are extremely helpful in providing information on what needs to be done and what can be done to reach your weight loss goals.

This business is strictly a business and VERY sketchy. They are deceptive in their advertising and pricing practices and when they run specials in local magazines, groupon, or other discount sites they alter their small print and don't include something that has always been standard in their program like the FDA approved prescription for phentermine (appetite suppressant) so that the new client is asked to pay for the program plus an additional $150 just for them to write you a prescription. Some of their other ads are written to sound like the prescription is provided as part of their 3 month program but they only give you a script to take to your pharmacy to buy for an additional cost. You meet their very elderly doctor only one time for 5 minutes during the first visit and all they do is hand you some papers with a list of low carb / high protein foods to eat. One of my girlfriends bought into their program and lost 100 pounds but ended up gaining it all back plus more after she stopped taking the phentermine yet the owner keeps her photo on his business facebook page.

It's a nice place with very nice people but their "program" is a complete joke. Their exercise "program" says to walk, that's all. Their diet is a low carb diet which is not conducive for long term weight loss. I guess I just expect more from so called doctors! ALL you are paying for is B-12 shots which you can get from a regular doctor for a lot less.

First Coast MD gives real results! All the staff helps you through your experience and also keeps you enthusiastic about loosing weight! Everyone there is really professional and knows what they are doing.. also they have respect for ones time unlike many other doctor offices where they have you wait all day to be seen.. first coast gets you in and out! I would highly reccomend anyone here for their weight loss needs.
