I never write negative reviews, but this was extremely awful experience so I think I have to let others know: A guy, who's name is Jim Williams came to my neighbor to do the estimate and my wife asked him to take a look at our roof too, because a few days before she mentioned a piece of wood with nails resting on our roof. He said he would take a look next time he comes and then disappeared for about 6 weeks. I never had any calls back from him. Yesterday I woke up because someone was walking on my roof and when I came out I saw Jim with a piece of wood they removed from the roof who told me I also needed some roof maintenance and they are about to complete it. I asked how much was it going to cost me and he said since they brought the ladder to fix the roof for my neighbor it would only cost me about $750. I told him this was a lot of money and normally I would expect to get an estimate before the work is done, not after. I had to leave to work and later during the day I called the office to explain the situation. The lady was helpful and Jim returned a call trying to convince me this was a fair price for the work done and I should have shopped around during the six weeks since he first appeared to do the estimate for my neighbor. I told him he never provided the estimate and never got my approval to do any maintenance work on my roof, but he didn't listen to me so I ended this conversation. I called the office again and in the evening Jim called me again saying the owner told him to give me a discount because of this mistake. Next morning he came to pick up the check and I asked about the warranty document. Jim was extremely rude and said "this check is your warranty". I asked again because the contract says it should come in a separate document. Jim said "call the office" and jumped into the car. I said "obviously you're not the person who can help me" and I think this is what made Jim extremely angry. He jumped out of the car and started to shout at me using "f" words. My wife came down and he started to blame her it was her fault she signed the contract and legally they should not be giving us the discount (again, using "f" words in front of my wife). I came back into my house and closed the door because we never use this kind of language at home and I didn't want my wife and my little son to hear it. When I closed the door Jim started to knock into it really hard, so I opened it and said I'd call the police if doesn't leave. He said they wouldn't respond in 48 hours and by the time the police comes he would definitely be gone. I closed the door and called the office to complain about Jim's unacceptable behavior. Later during the day the owner called me and apologized for Jim's behavior. He suggested we just move on and let it go :)

If you decide to have business with this contractor I highly recommend you avoid JIM WILLIAMS by any means.

I used M&M Roofing, Siding and Windows to replace my new roof in The Woodlands. I got 7 different estimates before I decided to go with M&M. My salesman, Rick Shelton, was very knowledgeable and pointed out things that the other 6 roofers did not. He noted how important attic ventilation is for the life of your roof. He also felt that it didn t make sense to repair my roof as that was not a wise use of money and the shingles wouldn t match. Rick was easy to get hold of, managed the job nicely and worked with both my schedule and my budget. Roofs are never cheap but I felt their estimate was fair. The work was done professionally and in a timely manner. They cleaned up nicely after they finished. Overall, a positive experience.

I had received a bid for re-roofing from M&M Roofing, Siding and Windows several years ago. That bid was the best of the lot for both cost and attention to details. For a variety of reasons I did not initiate the work at that time. Recently, however, I asked Rick Shelton to update the bid. He did, the work was scheduled and then completed in a timely manner. A very pleasant experience.

We've used M&M Roofing in the past and have always been very satisfied. We have referred them to family members who used them as well and had a great outcome. It is always a pleasure doing business with Rick Shelton (our contact for M&M). We will definitely continue our business and referring.

I needed to get a new roof and siding for my home in League City. Mike McCollom of M&M Roofing was the only representative of 4 companies that was on time with bids, references and samples of similar work ongoing in my area. The price was very competitive and they were flexible on material options. They started a week earlier than originally anticipated and finished both jobs within a matter of a week. When they left the place was spotless. I recommended M&M Roofing to all my neighborhood friends. I would use Mike McCollom and his crews again without any doubt.

M&M Roofing, Siding and Windows did a great job on our roof replacement as well as some siding repairs! We are in the Copperfield area of Houston and had the pleasure of working with Rick Shelton. Rick did a great job of communication and helped us decide on the appropriate materials, etc for the job. The siding repairs were done on one day and the roofing was completed on the next. They did a nice job on xcleanup and the roof and siding looks great - Thanks!

I hired M&M Roofing Siding & Windows to replace the roof on my N.W. Houston home. They were referred to be by my neighbor. My contractor was Rick Shelton and he did a wonderful job. I now have a beautiful new roof protecting my home. I would gladly use M&M again and will definitely refer them to my friends and neighbors.

Excellent job! M&M Roofing, Siding & Windows was referred to me by my sister. Rick came out looked the roof over and I had a quote a couple of days later. The installation was excellent and they even reset my DirecTV dish in the right spot. The end result was a beautiful new roof!

I had a great experience with M&M roofing. Good service from obtaining a quote to completing the job. Having worked in the construction industry for 20 years before moving to Houston I was not looking forward to having a contractor working on my house but I must say I was very pleasenty suprised. Rick the rep. I was dealing with was very professional. I would definately recommend to a friend.

hen I called, Rick Shelton called me within a short period of time and came out that afternoon to give us an estimate. We were surpised to learn that Rick could get to us that soon. He gave us an estimate and said that his technician would be out tomorrow to fix the roof. We were shocked! We never received such prompt service.

When the technician came he was very prompt, on time and very courteous. I think he even put on shoe coverings as to not damage out carpet. He went into the attic to see the what was required. He then proceeded to go outside and repair the roof. He also pointed out another repair that was needed for our ac unit, that we had fixed and is saving us money now!

We can not say enough about Rick and M and M; except be prepared to be presently surprised at the professionalism, promptness, courtesy and best of all; a job done right the first time!

The work was acceptable but I had to deal with a VERY RUDE representative. This man was not patient with me and did not hesitate to show me his frustration. In one phone call, after I asked him some questions about the contract he said in a sarcastic way: "well, your whole house needs repairs!" I told him that that was not very nice to say and he admitted it, but then he continued to answer my questions with a very rude tone and laughing all the time. I asked him not to laugh and to respect me, he then started raising his voice. I was calm the whole time (I am a teacher and I have experience staying calm and wise even if someone is acting crazy in front of me). I told him then: "you are now raising your voice, please don't raise your voice" (I was very calm the whole time, using my usual "teacher voice"). He replied saying "oh, I am having a bad day" and he hung up the phone. I called the office to ask for another person to be in charge of my project (which was half way done) and I explained the problem. The owner called me several hours later and apologized for him and said that this man was having some medical problems and that's why he was having a bad day. I am a customer. There is no excuse to treat a customer the way I was treated. If this man has medical problems, or needs some anger management classes, he should not be working with customers. He obviously does not like dealing with customers and has no patience. They did not assign anybody else after this incident. I told them I did not want to see him again. The workers finished the work without anybody supervising them. I wished I had hired workers directly (I would've saved about $2000), but I wanted to have someone in charge and a company to back up the work. In the end, the whole project ended up as if I had hired the workers directly (I was the one checking on them) but I had to pay the expensive price. I thought I was going to get a discount (since I ended up doing the representative's work) but no discount was offered. Oh! I just remembered, the contract said they were going to clean with a"magnetic sweep" which I believe was never done, there were nails, pieces of wood and one vent (that had been removed), all around my house. If I ignore the "magnetic sweep" I can say that the workers did an excellent job SO you don't reallly need M&M, you can hire the workers directly and you can save a LOT of money. Trust me, don't call M&M, call the workers directly, it's the same type of work. If you are wondering how to hire them directly, you can find those type of workers anywhere (you may see their phone numbers on their trucks, you may see them shopping at home depot, you may find their info at those local Hispanic newspapers, you may ask around, etc). These Hispanic men are very hard working and very polite. If the stars were only for them I would give them 5, but the stars are for the company so I guess I can only give one because no customer should be treated the way I was treated.

I've used M&M twice now for siding and roof repairs and have been greatly impressed with the quality of their people and the quality of the work, all at reasonable prices.



Mike McCollum has been great to work with both times as their customer service rep. Most recently, my roof developed a leak that others hadn't been able to locate the source of previously. He came out the next day, pinpointed the source promptly and accurately, and provided a solid, reasonable estimate. He then went the extra mile twice, once when I asked him to cover the vent that was leaking even though the forecast didn't call for rain and again when I asked if he'd clean the dryer vent that exited through the roof while he was up on the roof since my bad back won't allow me to get up there right now. He did both happily, saving me worry and trouble. They then performed the repair the next day when other companies wouldn't even call me back in that time, let alone come out and do all that he and his team did so promptly, considerately, and quickly.



I highly recommend them to anyone who has roofing or siding needs.

Nathan with M&M went to great lengths to design a roof system that served our needs and our energy efficiency desires. This is saying a lot because our roof is one of the funkiest darned roofs in Houston. It's all kinds of cut up with dormers and multiple roof peaks. Nathan put in countless hours researching and talking to manufacturers to find just the right products and installation techniques. Very appreciative of all his hard work.

I am more than happy to recommend M&M Roofing Siding and Windows. Rick Shelton was my contact and he arranged for the installation of a new roof, GAF-ELK high-def shingle. I have a carport that had a ton of accumulated pine needles from the pine tree next door. The workers cleared off all of the pine needles from the carport even though they only needed to clear out a small area adjacent to where the roof meets the carport. They also did an outstanding job with the magnetic sweep around my house. Every time I walk outside, I think to myself, "That's a good looking roof." I couldn't have been happier with my experience with M&M Roofing Siding & Windows and Rick Shelton.

Great company!! We've had M&M Roofing, Siding & Windows do lots of work for us and we are extremely pleased! They put on our GAF Roof, Hardie siding and radiant barrier in the attic. They did our siding first which looks awsome so we did our roof next and heatbloc and the house couldnt look better on the outside and now much cooler on the inside! Their crew cleaned up everything and worked with us on the price and answered all our questions. We tell our friends to choose M&M first!

and Great Work!! We had a flat roof with shingles on it that had always leaked. M&M Roofing, Siding & Windows came out and said the roof had wrong materials on it all this time. They replaced it with something new and it's never leaked since! They were very helpful, knowledgeable about the best products to use and fixed it with no trouble. We would use them again and are sure to tell our Houston friends to use them

M & M did a great job. I had wood siding replaced with HardiPlank, replaced roofing(both slanted shingle and flat), and had exterior (brick and siding) painted. All work crews showed up on time and worked a full day weather permitting. There were no delays or dead periods. Crews were well-staffed, efficient and courteous. Great communication with general contractor. HIgh quality material used. Price was reasonable and there were no surprises. Best of all, I did not pay one red cent until ALL work was completed; there was no deposit. The cost of the entire job was approx. $21,000. Recommended M & M to a neighbor and would use again without hesitation.

Over the years, M & M Roofing has installed 2 roofs for me and most recently replaced my windows, resided my house, painted and installed radiant barrier in the attic. The most recent job involved 4 types of crews and every single person that showed up at my house was outstanding. The crews were very knowledgeable and truly nice people. Thank you David...you and your crews have again done an outstanding job!
