Provided by YPmobilePaid over $400 to get a small 4 room house inspected for an electrical permit .. Supposed to make sure all wiring is up to code. Put a shutoff valve on water heater and never checked wiring to sub- box or under house. Permitted house with 220 stove wire melted and running in mud in crawl space. Called them back out when tenants stove didn't work and now they say they can't put a new stove wire in cause they permitted it wrong. Left me needing to pay another electrician! That is just wrong!
We could not find anything in our customer database, nor does anybody here remember this. If this job was permitted, it would have to undergo and pass an inspection by the local jurisdiction's inspector. Also, the power is not turned on until the meter is set by the power company. If an issue is found while setting the meter, the power company will turn off that breaker and tell the customer it needs to be fixed. If we permitted it wrong, it would have never passed the local inspection, until that was corrected. These reviews are basically anonymous. We have no way to know who this customer is to check the facts as we know them. We stand behind our work. If we conducted an electrical inspection and missed the stove wire, we would have done whatever it took to make things right with our customer. If this customer sees our comment here, we welcome them to give us a call to discuss this further. If we find that we did something wrong, or missed something that we should have caught, we will reimburse this customer for any expenses that should have been covered in the $400 that the customer already paid us.

Provided by YP.comMy AC recently went out on a Saturday. Called Hammond Services and they sent a tech, James, right over. The tech did a good job and the price was fair. It's nice to be able to get good service from a local company when you need them. I recommend Hammond to all my friends.

Provided by YP.comI called them on a Sunday to ask them to come out and fix our pipes, they said they would call me back on Monday and never did.
I am extremely sorry that this happened. i want to assure you that this is not the way we normally do business. We have use a 24-hour answering service, and they would have taken the call on Sunday. Something must have happened to cause a breakdown in communication. Could you email me what Sunday this happened, and possible some of your contact info? I'd like to find out what happened to make sure this does not happen again. every call we get is very important to us. Our office is open at 8am on Monday, and we have 11 phone lines so no customer ever gets a busy signal. We should have called you and I am sorry this happened, but I wish you would have called us Monday morning to inform us then that we had not yet returned your call as promised on Sunday. Then we could have addressed this glitch in a timely manner and possibly we could have provided you with the service you needed. Thanks for the review, so i know of a possible problem that needs correcting.
