I have had the great good fortune of finding Ms. Mayor to handle several matters for me over the past year. She is a true professional whose honesty and compassion comes across in every step of the process. I have been in the business world for almost 40 years and it has been a rare occasion to find someone with the patience, wisdom and kindness that Ms. Mayor has shown to me. Her office staff gets an A+ as well - always available to answer my endless questions and concerns. If you are looking for an attorney who truly cares and practices her profession for all the right reasons - to help people get through a bad time with as little stress as possible - look no further. Ms. Mayor is my number one choice!

We have been working with Clare Casas for months now, and we have received nothing but the best service and professionalism from her and her team.



All the reviews on here about "trying to get a hold of her over the phone" are ridiculous. You don't just call up and expect to speak with an attorney, you schedule an APPOINTMENT and speak with them IN PERSON. Other one-star reviews are attached with more unrealistic claims and falsehoods... Like the one "oh my girlfriend works for a marketing company, and they put fake 5 star reviews on her page" that is just laughable, and if you are going to take the word of someone's "supposed" girlfriend (who is shady enough to reveal clients of her employer) then you don't even deserve the services of this law team. Other one-star review was from a guy who opens up several credit cards right before bankruptcy, Clare advises him that it raises red flags, and then he blames her for his shady actions... Read the reviews, think, decide, then give them a call to settle your financial issues. If she was in the "screwing over clients for money" business, do you think she would be doing it as a bankruptcy lawyer?? Lol! C'mon...



Sorry for the rant about one-star reviews, but Clare and her team don't deserve that.



They also accept Hyatt prepaid legal, and offer other services like estate planning, etc.

EXPERT & HONEST BILINGUAL ATTORNEY. They are knowledgeable courteous and the most important for me: honest professionals. She's straight and resourceful in giving and finding answers. She could have just asked me for money in order to file for chapter 13 bankruptcy, which I wanted when I entered her office. Instead, she honestly offered to save what my previous incompetent attorney had done with an intent to file chapter 7 (which was we initially tried) and saved us time and money in starting a new painful bankruptcy process.

My husband was unemployed for almost three years. We were losing our home and in a heap of debt. After visiting another bankruptcy attorney, we still felt uneasy about filing. What an incredible law firm! Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. This evening, my husband and I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Mayor. She was a consumate professional, provided outstanding advise, and gave us her full attention. Ms. Mayor worked with us for quite a bit of time and discussed our options. She didn't rush us, and in fact, encouraged us to work through any concerns. We we were able to evaluate our options and have, without hesitation, decided to have Ms. Mayor represent us. I will be recommending this firm to all of our friends and family.

I am a current customer of this Law Firm. I do not know who wrote the two negative comments on here about her practice. However, I can tell you those comments are completely false and were probably written by other lawyers. I live in Jacksonville and needed a good bankruptcy attorney to represent my daughter who lives in Miami and was born deaf. Communications and experience were very big factors in my decision to hire Orphelia and her firm. Every single time I called or wrote Ms. Mayor or any of her staff about any question or procedure, they were extremely helpful in responding to all of my questions very professionally and politely. They went out of their way even using their own private cell phones to keep in touch with my daughter via text mail since my daughter cannot speak on a telephone. Every bit of the advice Ms. Mayor gave us was totally correct. They completed all of the forms and collected all of the required documentation immediately and in less than six weeks following the filing of the bankruptcy petition, my daughter case has been heard before the creditors meeting and it is just waiting to get the final discharge. Now that is service of an excellent quality and at legal expenses that were very fair. I am giving them full authority to have anyone who ever wants to talk with me directly on the telephone my number so a potential customer can have real live feedback from a very satisfied customer.

After meeting with 2 other bankruptcy lawyers who basically were not honest with me. I am so happy that I found Clare Casas. I am in the middle stages of my bankruptcy process and so far the services she provides are excellent. When I email her with questions, and I email her alot, she answers right away. Her and her office have facilitated the process of providing paperwork by having the capibilities of scanning and emailing. Clare is patient and answers all your questions. She is on point and always comes back with an answer you can trust. I am grateful that she was placed in my path for this very difficult time in my life. Sadly, it appears "sweetness46" cannot add or do research. Orfelia Mayor, ESQ is registered with teh Florida Bar since 2003 and has been a practicing attorney in bankruptcy ever since then. I am a client and not afraid to say my name, unlike "sweetness46". This is likely a person out for secondary gain, as Ms. Mayor is an outstanding, knowledgable attorney who does not deserve this review. I am a client and have made 2 referrals to her of many more to come, based on her outstanding service, within a short period.

GRATEFUL

On my first visit to the office for my consult, I was a nervous wreck. Walking in the office the staff and ms. mayor made you feel like a person not a client or a number. Going over my situation, ms. mayors explained to me my options and what I needed to do to proceed. Ms. Mayors is the best ,she was there for me through out all my obstacles. Her office staff is Great!!!. I want to thank all of them again for everything they did for me and my family.

After months of being afraid to open my door or answer my phone I decided to find out about bankruptsy. I saw a couple of attys and then Ms. Mayor. I can tell you it was a big difference. Even just walking in her office your greeted with a warm hello and an offer of soda or water. Its something little but made me feel welcome. With other attys I felt rushed at the consultation and they didn't explain much. I just heard stuff like "you gotta do this" and you gtta do that. I felt comfortable with her form the beginning and she let me go on and on about my stuff before explaining how everything could effect me and giving me suggestions on what to do. I never felt pressure or scared with her and thats why I decided to file bankruptcy with her. At the court meeting she was there and after seeing other attys with their people I was happy I chose her. I consulted Attorney Mayor about 4 weeks ago regarding the possibility of filing for bankruptcy and getting served by a C/C company in which I had to attend court. She gave me incredible advice on what to do on both cases. She even went to the extend of helping out as to what to do regarding the credit card company.
