What really impressed me and why I give them a 5 star review is that, we didn't have to pack anything in her old townhouse, or when we got to her to the new apartment in Brooklyn. The guys packed and unpacked everything for us! Most of the other companies I called did not offer this service or if they did, it was way too expensive for us.

I have moved 5 times in the last 5 years and nearly a dozen times in my life.

polite, efficient and he called to confirm that I was ready for him before he and his team arrived. There were lots of odd-sized boxes, futons and tables that had to be moved in and out of walk-ups in addition to a bed. But everything made it from one apartment to the other in one piece without doing any damage to the walls in either apartment. The guys also waited while I tried several layouts in one room because I couldn't move the heavy furniture by myself. Most importantly, the guys were incredibly nice, which helps with stressful events like moving. Small things, like saying, "Welcome home!" when they left me at my new apartment left me much calmer than I would have been when faced with unpacking, etc. Really, there aren't enough words to express how incredibly happy I am that I chose Local Movers.
