I looked at many Many reviews for bankruptcy lawyers in Austin, and found Susan Taylor to have the best. I had a free consultation (2 actually), and when I met her I couldn't believe she's a lawyer. Her personality is warm and inviting, not judgmental, and very compassionate. I can't believe how simple they made it for me, I thought the new laws made it harder but my case wasn't complicated by that! I just provided some paperwork and they did the rest. I was really nervous but they made me feel at ease. It's nice to have a fresh start!

Susan Taylor and her staff get 5 Stars from me. I had started to self-file my bankruptcy and ran into a big snag. I called Susan’s law office and went in for an initial free consultation. From the moment I met Susan, I felt like I was reconnecting with an old, trusted friend. She was warm and kind and not a bit of it seemed contrived to get my business. I fast realized that she knew what she was doing and that I was going to shoot myself in the foot if I carried on alone. Because it was casual Friday that day, she and her staff were doing end of the month wrap-up. Her paralegal Rebecca had squeezed me in since I was facing a lawsuit answering deadline. I ended up riding with Susan to pick-up lunch for everyone including me. The entire process of having my debts discharged took 60 days and Susan and her staff supported me every step of the way. It all went off without a hitch. That Friday night I went home and had the first good night sleep in a month. I cannot more highly recommend Susan Taylor and her staff if you are contemplating bankruptcy. Reasonable, sharp, experienced and downright nice human beings all!

My husband and I were frustrated and worried about our financial situation. My husband was filing for disability and had not been able to work. We found Susan G. Taylor online and saw high recommendations for her. We made an appointment with her. When we arrived she was still eating her lunch while speaking with us. She took a $200 check from us and proceeded to ask for several sums of money to determine if we qualified for bankruptcy, to take the credit training and to handle other issues. The upfront sums were a lot of money considering our financial status. In the end she told us she could not file bankruptcy for us and kept the $200. Later that same year, Michael Baumer handled our bankruptcy with out all the extraneous up front fees. We had no problems at all. I do not recommend Susan for bankruptcy unless you have a lot of money to spend up front and need a high power attorney.

When I met Susan, I was a wreck. She has a pleasant voice and patiently listened to my long story. And the homework assignment made our next paperwork meeting so easy. Rebecca and I finished in about an hour (of course, I had a few more documents to gather). I'm much, much calmer now, knowing I'm in competent hands!
