The perimeter of the property as well as the garage and inside were sprayed for the pests I identified. My service pro that came out to do My house was Gregory Vandeveer. He did an excellent job and was very thorough. He did everything I asked and even avoided my koi fish pond and herbs without any problem! I recommend Gregory and Alterra.

I had a prior pest control company, but the sales rep. showed up at my door and told me all these “perks” the company would offer and at a marginal savings. I regretfully signed up with them for a year and fired them today.



Supposedly my home was serviced and I was billed back in July. I contacted the company saying the tech never left a ticket (I am usually home to sign for them as I have pets so I make a point of being there). I didn’t realize I missed a service and I was not going to pay for it – there was no proof! I contacted Alterra and spoke with a nice girl who was trying to accommodate my frustration. I asked if the representative if they could issue a credit for the non-service (in my opinion). She spoke with her manager, Trevor and he would not clear that charge. The best they could do was spray the backyard since the gate was locked. However, I still have no proof they were there in the first place. I cancelled my service with them today. So annoyed. I contacted my prior pest control company who is locally owned and would have treated his customer’s better than Alterra. Debating about only paying for the ½ spray they are going to do instead of the full bill. What crooks!

Oh and by the way Alterra asks you to take a survey to give them good ratings and they will give you a credit on your next bill. They lie!!! Never saw it!
