The place smells, Food is very bad, staff is lacking proper skills including proper washing hands after leaving room.

My brother was recently admitted to Heartland of Zephyrhills for rehab after open heart surgery. I visited for 4 days (flew in from NY) and was totally impressed. I work in healthcare and I was struck by the kind, efficient and gentle care he received. The rooms were very clean, the floors were like mirrors. Every staff member from housekeeping, health aides, therapy workers, nurses, dietary were so helpful and really cared for their clients. His progress over the 4 days that I was there was remarkable.
