Established in 1961, Wienerschnitzel is a chain of quick-service restaurants. The restaurant serves turkey and Angus beef dogs, hamburgers, sides, Der Dog Paks, kids bags and drinks. Its Angus beef dogs menu comprises chili dog, chili cheese dog, Kraut dog, mustard or relish dog and Chicago dog. Additionally, the restaurant serves specialties, including mini corn dogs, polish sandwich, Italian sausage, jalapeno peppers and chili cheese fries. Wienerschnitzel provides merchandise, including shirts, mugs, boxers and license plates.

Hungry on a Monday evening - I decided to visit Wienerschnitzel on 4th Avenue in Yuma, Arizona. Visiting from central Florida, I have never eaten at the chain.

Short line at the drive-thru, I ordered an Angus beef chili cheese dog at the promotional price of $1.99, a Chicago Dog at $2.09, and a Corn Dog at $1.59.

Staff were friendly and polite. With only one vehicle in front of me, the wait was minimal.

Reviewing the receipt upon return to my hotel, I found that the Angus beef chili cheese dog was rung up at $2.99 versus the $1.99 I was told at drive-thru. The hot dog itself was overcooked and had very little chili on it. The cheese portion was fine.

Chicago Dog wasn't bad - very tasty. Corn Dog was average and tasted better with the provided mustard.

Bag contained napkins and mustard. No issue with the provided condiments.

I would have rated Wienerschnitzel 3 stars, but they lose one for overcharging on the overcooked Angus beef chili cheese dog.
