We had Comstock install a new Trane heat pump in our home about a month ago. We are DELIGHTED!! The sales Rep, Fernando is so nice and amazingly knowledgeable. He took as much time as we needed to answer all of our questions and checked our house for the correct unit. He has since been available to answer our questions and been back to check on the unit a couple of times. The installers Moise Beto and Luis were just great and did a wonderful job. They work SO hard! When they were finished the owner of the company, Lee Henry came to our house to check the system and make sure we were satisfied! That is the FIRST time we have EVER had a company owner personally show up to verify the job. To be sure, we will be spreading the good word and recommending this company every chance we get! Thanks guys for a wonderful job!

When I called APS to get the name of a BPI Contractor to perform the “Home Performance Energy Star Program Test,” I was given the phone number for Comstock Air Conditioning who performs the test in Yuma, Arizona.



Fernando came out with Luis to perform the “Home Performance Test,” and gave us a comprehensive report listing their recommendations to make our home more comfortable. Since APS has rebates for upgrading to a high SEER unit, duct repairs, and sealing air leaks in the attic, we decided to follow Fernando’s recommendations and had the work done in February. Fernando always answered all of our questions, and told us why we needed return ducts in our rooms to make our home more comfortable.



We cannot say enough about the excellent quality of the work performed by the installation crew of Beto, Moises, and Luis. From the installation of the Trane 4 Ton Heat Pump, and the Clean Air Effects, to the duct repairs, and sealing the whole home for air leaks the crew worked together as a team to complete the job.



Fernando and Luis came out on the final inspection to perform the air balancing, and adjusted our supply register’s to match their readings for our home so that we will have a comfortable and energy efficient home.



We would recommend Comstock Air Conditioning and Fernando, Lee, and the crew since all of the work done was excellent. We finally found a company who know's how to make our home more comfortable in the summer and winter. Also, we want to say that dealing with Tara, and Casey in the office was a pleasure, they always kept us informed and we appreciated that.

I was giving a few estimates on ac/unit and fernando from comostock air conditioning he gave the best estimate not only in the unit but also on the price the duck work was included.Fernando also he did a heat calculation on the house to see what size unit we need and he had good answers on most of the questions that i had so i went thru

comostock air .The instalers did a excellent job they did the job in less than 8 hrs and they clean after them selfs so i give fernando and his crew five stars.

I'd say they deserve 2 1/2 stars. Comstock did the APS Home Performance on our home. The man that did the test was not very patient about explaining the procedure. He seemed rushed and irritated. One should feel comfortable asking questions when one is paying for a service. He did not make this possible. I just asked my questions to the Latino guy that accompanied him. He was very helpful and tried to answer my questions to the best of his knowledge. (Although it was the other guy who was the expert in the performance test, not the Latino.)

The test was going to conclude without the guy looking at my unconditioned attic (the APS Home Performance website clearly states the attic will be checked). I had to remind him that this was part of the test. He didn't want to because he didn't have a ladder high enough to reach the entrance (what????). I had to offer him one.

If he had gone without checking my attic, I would not have know that my attic was in need of insulation--most likely the reason my house was feeling uncomfortably humid and warm even with the a/c on. It's sad that I had to tell him "no, you can't leave until you check my attic."

Two and 1/2 weeks since test was performed passed and no one from the company called me, as I was told they would, to make an appointment to talk about the test results and my options. I had to call them to set up an appointment. The appointment had to be cancelled on my part, but I was told they'd mail me the results.

A month and a half later after the test was done, I am still waiting for the test results. I called them to see what was happening and I was told they didn't have my mailing address. They have my phone number on file why didn't they just call me to ask for it. Why did they have to wait until I called them? That means if I hadn't bothered to call, they would've never sent me the test results. Nice job, Comstock You sure were quick to ask for the $99.

I wanted to go local for the fact that I didn't want to be ignored by a big city company, but Comstock did just that. Shame on you Comstock for not following through with your word. You should treat your customers with the respect they deserve no matter where they live. Afterall, we do have other choices.

Now I am going to have one of the other APS contractors finish up the job of insulating my attic, instead of going to Comstock.

If they can't handle a simple act of mailing paper work what is expected of them when they have to do something that requires more of them. So much for trying to shop locally.

I just had Comstock do an APS leak test on our ductwork.

Fernando was very courteous and professional.

I opted for a total ductwork replacement. That resulted in an 83% improvement from duct leakage. What a difference in comfort (and no doubt efficiency$$). They even filed the paperwork with APS for our rebate.

The installation crew was fantastic. Olde Thyme workmansip.
