RES did a great job insulating our older home. You could tell the difference almost immediately. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They installed new baffles in the eves, sealed around the canned lighting, and did the whole job without any issues. Chris also assisted in getting the proper paperwork completed for the nice rebate being given by OG&E. Great Job, we would recommend highly.

We wanted to add insulation to our home and save on our electric bill during the summer and gas bill during the winter. I called around and got a quote from a few contractors. Chris Spencer's quote was the best value hands down and he understood what was needed to get our insulation done properly (more on this later). The two big box stores (L and HD) prices were greater than 1 dollar per square foot (ridiculous). Additionally, Contractor from L wanted us to replace our windows because "it is was the best way to save on electric / gas bill" (a sales pitch at best, me and my wife's research indicate that the best way is to add proper insulation in the attic). Company E's quote was even higher than L and HD. Company M's quote was a little lower than Chris but like L and HD wanted to put in fiberglass insulation. What I also did not like about M was that the contractor did not seem to understand that we also need to have our recessed light casings sealed before putting the insulation (Need to have this done so that insulation does not physically touch the light casing and your lights will not overheat and flicker and be a fire hazard). About cellulose: I have read and asked around and learned that cellulose has been around for more than 20+ years, is being used in Oklahoma, and is made from recycled material. Do not get scared into using fiberglass insulation. Fiberglass and cellulose will both get mold if the insulation is not performed properly. Additionally, cellulose has a higher fire rating (less likely to burn) than fiberglass. Long story short, I chose Chris to add our attic insulation and seal our lighting about 10 days before the job. The following are what I meant by Chris understanding that the insulation needs to be done right in order for it to last long and allow you to save on utilities: (1) Eight days before the job I saw on his website that he also does energy audits, emailed him about it and he added the service for FREE; (2) Six days before the job, I checked my attic and saw there were two metal furnace vents that were left by whoever fixed the furnace for the previous owners. Emailed Chris and he was happy to move it down from the attic for FREE; (3) One day before the job, I checked my attic for the last time and found that two of my bathrooms had vents that will be covered by the insulation if the vents were not extended. Guess what, when it was time to write the check, he also added this service to the original quote. More importantly, Chris, Christian and Brittney worked for more than 9 hours on a Saturday to do the job right. What else can I say. I am completely satisfied and our home feels great with no worries about possible fiberglass itch. We have lowered the thermostat 2 degrees and the home is comfortable. Chris warranties his work, will answer your every question / concern and he really cares that your home is properly weatherized / weatherproofed. He will even submit your OG&E rebate form if the install work qualifies. Thanks guys!!!
