Don's appliance service is a cover for "Josh" who says he is Don's grandson and is very happy to take your money under false pretenses. Don't take my word for it, check him out on the BBB website. Against my better judgment, I hired him to repair my Cabiro Dryer. It was making a drum roller noise. He charged me $50 for the house call and said the parts would be $125. He returned 4 days later with a new drum roller and a drum belt (I really didn't see the new parts) which he installed in 10 minutes. The dryer made the same noise and he assured me it would go away afte 2 or 3 loads. He left and indicarted there was a 6 month warranty on parts and labor. The Dryer continued to make the same noise and after numerous calls Josh has not responded. I looked up the price of the parts on the Sears Direct parts website and they priced out at $25. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. DO NOT HIRE IS GUY HE IS A FRAUD. AGAIN, DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, CHECK OUT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

DO NOT USE THIS GUY! This guy will be easy to get a hold of when you first need him to come out. I sent him to my rental and he checked out my wash machine and he went checked it at the scheduled time and advised the computer board was band (12/03/2014). He called and advised me quoted a price of $240 for everything and I told him to order the part. He came back about a month later and "fixed" the washer. He stopped by and I paid him with a check (01/06/2015). The next day my renters called and advised me that the wash machine was still doing the same thing! I have not been able to get a hold of him since. My boyfriend called from his cell phone and left a message acting like a new client and received a phone call right back(02/24/2015). I boyfriend asked him to come look at it again and he never showed up (02/25/2015). He has returned to again not returning phone calls. DO NOT LOSE YOUR MONEY TO THIS GUY

Horrible Customer Service Don't Get Screwed Over.

These guys came out to repair my washer and it still does not work, and I have called back to back for two weeks and still have not received a back on the repair and they claim they have warranty on their work. This company is bs. They got one star only because I had to put at least one star to use this review.

Dons appliance repair used to be a good company, the grand father died and the boys that have taken over, are as crooked as I have ever seen, we had made the mistake of trusting them to come up and fix the washing machine, 10/05/2011 charges $245 nothing was repaired, they keep saying a part is on order, and nothing is ever done to repair the machine, or call us, we have called other repair service, they will come up on thursday to fix the washer, simple fix, but of course dons appliance will not return calls , keep saying for weeks that a part is on order, the part does not take two weeks! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE GUYS!

I will turn them into the police dept and better business bureau of yucaipa.

Pure and simple. These guys are crooks and take advantage of anyone they can, especially the elderly. Contact with them is impossible as they refuse to return calls and lie about repairs being made, issuing refunds, etc., etc.



Finally had to get another repair guy out. The repair guy said they did nothing other than loosen things up to create additional problems and no parts were replaced even though they were paid in excess of $275.



Oh yes, there has been countless complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the City of Yucaipa. File your complaints with the City and with the Police Department. We have and were told they have a history of fraud and the DA is looking into the case.



I hope PD handles them before I run into them!!! F-ing cowards!!!!

My experience began with a noi...

My experience began with a noisy clothes dryer. After the repair, one of my adult children accidently overpaid the technician by $50.00 cash, and despite numerous promises to 'be there tomorrow' it has been weeks. Oh, and my dryer was also 'fixed' but was still noisy, the technician DISASSEMBLED it, even though it was working, and kept me hanging for 10 days on a part that I was told would take two days to receive. Finally told him to forget the repair, and I bought a new dryer.



Not a single one of my 28 phone calls between May 4th and June 3rd has ever been returned. I haven't counted my calls from June 3rd to date yet, but fortunately my detailed phone records paint a very clear picture of the reliability, honesty and ethics of this business.
