Because he had the shortest waiting list, I made an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I called his office and they said if I was in too much pain go to the ER. I told the ER I had an appointment later that day with a surgeon, and they made me wait for him to come to the hospital. He told them he would be there by noon - didn't show. They put me in a room, and said he would be there at 6PM. Didn't show. They said he would be there at 6AM so my husband came at 5 to be there. Didn't show. Finally at 9:30 am - after an unnecessary night in the hospital waiting for him to show - he came and did the surgery at 10 AM. My gallbladder was on the verge of rupturing - he put a glove around it to pull it out.

He did no follow up in the hospital - nurse called him at 7 PM to see if they could release me.

Lesson learned - don't go to him - and if you make an appointment don't tell the emergency room or they will make you wait for him.
