Not sure what the other two negative reviews are concerning but I've been going there with my VWs for well over 6 years. Tim is the only one I trust with my vehicles. Not only is he honest, but also fair and reasonable. Jobs are done in a timely and efficient manner.

I remember the customer in the two reviews shown here that Tim responded to. Tim took care of this guy and in fact, my car was one of the cars that got bumped in line. Tim checked with me to verify that it was ok. Grudgingly, I agreed to get bumped as I needed my car. TIm bent over backward for this clown and didn't overcharge him. He had a lot of stuff that had to come out to do the repairs. Is Tim supposed to work free? It seems this kid is expecting him to. If you want to check the invoice on this, get in touch with Tim when you stop in and he'll show you everything. It was very unfair how Tim was treated here. I've been taking my cars there for years. If I wanted cheaper prices, I'd get a VW instead of the Audi Quattro that I have. Tim might not be the fastest shop for getting things done but he is meticulous. Sometimes it's better to replace a secondary part when replacing something else since the car is already apart. Tim is very good about alerting me to this.

response to 11/04/2013 review

We do remember this particular incident from the 11/04/2010 review and have even kept the parts as well as all documentation on the said job. We also have letters from the Office of the Attorney General/ Bureau of Consumer Protection in PA and our response to this incident. After replying, to this office both in letter and a voice call, we heard of no further action on the incident from that direction. If desired, we have copies of said letters. This would vindicate our position here. First off, when working on vehicles, we review and get customer approval on ALL work to be done so there are no surprises. This was done in this customer's case as well. The customer had stopped in after calling the shop from traveling on the turnpike about his BMW M3 that was leaking coolant profusely. He was able to drive it in to the shop for a diagnosis of the problem. The radiator on the car had to be removed. Upon removal, we found a broken coolant resevoir along with an overflow hose that had been chopped by the radiator fan. While the radiator was out, I pointed out that his car had over 210930 miles and the car was over 12 years old and he should consider replacing some of the parts in that area since the radiator was out. The customer who was present during the tear down and diagnosis, agreed to do so. It was pointed out that the belts and the 4 pulleys that the belts run on had signs of severe wear. We do have pics of the said parts. It was also suggested that it was a good practice to replace the water pump at this time but in checking his repair receipts it was shown that this was already done, hence the water pump was not replaced. As he said he needed to be on the road as quickly as possible, the customer agreed to pay to have the parts sent overnight to a BMW dealer in order for the repairs to be done the next day. This was done after a call to his own dealer showed that they could not get the parts to us in the time required. We even agreed to move him ahead of customers already in line with their

I should have read the review ...

I should have read the review on these guys before taking my vehicle here. The unfavorable comments posted below, in my opinion, is an absolute understatement. You bet I'll be contacting the BBB. I believe in fairness and I understand people need to make a living.. but the minimal work that was done, the time it took, and what I was unfairly charged, and for not even fixing the problem, is nothing short of thievery.

Save your money!! Especially if your from out of town!!‎

I was on a trip, and my coolant reservoir tank broke. Unfortunately I was near these guys!! I've been in the car business for years and never have I ever been treated like this! I think if you look up highway robbers these guys pictures should be next to the definition! These guys took waaay to long to take the parts apart, and of course charged me by the hour for their ridiculously slow labor, and than misquoted me on replacing the pulleys on the car, and tried to tell me that all my other coolant system components were original, until I had to show him the receipt that they were replaced less than a year ago! I offered to order the parts from my home BMW dealership who sells me parts at list, and he insisted it was no big deal and he would not overcharge for parts! HA! What a loser! I literally got what would have cost me $500 (I sent the invoice to other mechanics without the price and had them quote me) ended up paying these thieves $972!!! Not counting 2 nights in a hotel and lost time sitting around waiting for these snails to get anything done!!! It is what it is, but I also know, what goes around comes around! I know I feel like I was totally taken advantage of. 100% unethical and totally dishonest!
