A native of Pakistan, specializing in Internal Medicine and Renal disorders, Dr. Anjum Asad completed her Medical Degree at the Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan in 1999 and worked in the Departments of both Medicine and Surgery at Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. In 2008, she completed an Internship with Acadiana Family Physicians and later completed an externship and regular rotation with Acadiana Renal Physicians. In 2013, Dr. Asad completed her residency at LSUHSC UMC in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. Asad is experienced in critical care management and outpatient management and care.
