This was like a welcome oasis in a desert when we got off of the Ohio Turnpike. What we thought would be a couple of items ended up being significantly more. When you are traveling cross country, sometimes the pickings can be slim.

After an order of over $90, we were ready to roll. We tried the Grilled Chick'n Parm, Southwest Quinoa Bowl, Chili, Lava Cake, Orange Cake, Peanut Butter Pie, Midnight Fudge Brownie, and a Peanut Butter Crunch Bar. Everything was superb except for the Chili - it was all mushrooms...yuck.

I've been going to the Flaming Ice Cube for years and I've always had good experiences. Great vegetarian dishes and faux meats, smoothies, coffee and teas, appetizers, and desserts. Lots of variety. The staff are fun-loving and have always been courteous to me. Perfect destination for any vegetarian or health concious person. I was surprised to read the negative review that someone else posted while I was searching for their number one day, and just wanted to make sure people know that that is a rarity, not the norm. Youngstown needs more places like this!!

The service at this cafe was absolutely unbearable! I heard the food was good so I went in to eat and the very young person who waited on me had an attitude and it took 30 minutes to get my food. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE CAFE! I could hear the workers in the back laughing and carrying on... maybe that's why it took so long to get the food.



The food was definitely NOT worth the wait!
