In April this contractor was hired to do some repair works for an AC unit at my house here it is June and the completion of the work has not been done. I have contacted choice home warranty on this guy several times he has refused to contact me so ultimately I got rid of the home warranty program and the contractor himself the home warranty did issue a refund and I asked this contractor for a refund and told me it would be 30 days before it would be initiated here it is he called me back and said that the parts are in that he would have to charge me a restocking fee. Mind you a hefty restocking fee, so I contacted the warranty company who I no longer have and they said he is absolutely wrong that he will be good and contacted by the vendors relations program they have and if he does not refund my money within 24 to 48 hours minus a stocking fee he will be removed from their vendor program. This guy is absolutely a fraud scam and he prays on people that will not take him to the magistrate. I will not escalate the process I urge everyone who deals with this guy to take him to the magistrate, and if you’re dealing with a contractor such as a home warranty program to call them and let them know exactly what he’s doing, I have yet to receive my refund of $3000. However I do believe it’s in the making everyone out there should contact their credit card company and escalate the process

Review of Bonita’s (Bonita’s) Way Appliance Repair: We have a contract with a major home warranty company that has an agreement with Bonita’s for furnace repair. I contacted the warranty company on 1/24/23 to schedule a furnace repair and James Durkin of Bonita’s immediately contacted me that day and scheduled a furnace repair visit for the next day, 1/25/23.
Bonita’s arrived at my house on the scheduled visit date and time and quickly went to work at diagnosing the problems with my furnace. He identified numerous issues needing repair, contacted the warranty club to file the claim for their authorization, and then he ordered the needed parts on 1/25/23.
The warranty company immediately approved the claim and Bonita’s contacted me on 1/26/23 to schedule the full repair of the furnace.
Bonita’s was very timely, courteous, and knowledgeable in getting the furnace problems diagnosed and scheduling the actual repair (for next week). Bonita’s did not try to “upsell” me and worked on the issues needing repair only. Based on my interaction with James Durkin, I would recommend Bonita’s for their furnace repair services.

Bonita's appliance repair is a scam!!!! Do not fall for it! He will take your $100 or more for his service call and not come back! He won't call you back and you'll have to call him multiple times for him to make excuses regarding the "part that he ordered". Another red flag is he just takes cash! AVOID him!!!!

Buyer beware and do not go here!!! Check their Better Business Bureau grade, it's an F. They took advantage of an 83 year old woman, and once they got her money and delivered a broken washer and dryer they refused to do anything!! Very sad that people can behave this way!
