Waiting in line, now 5 deep including the customer who needed a price adjustment at the register. The cashier thoughtfully paged for a backup cashier, given the line forming and not moving. Manager came over, helped the cashier, looked at the long, stagnant line, and walked away. Backup cashier never showed, manager couldn't care less. Bottom line: one lost sale and customer.
