The techs are competent and I have no problem with their hourly rate ($89). However, their mark-up on parts is completely outrageous. I recently had them do a small-business upgrade. The USB mini adapter sells on Amazon for $ 16.95. Spartan's charged me $ 30 (176% mark-up). The IOGear switcher sells on Amazon for $ 18.15. Spartan charged $ 60 (a whopping 331% mark-up)

Although I sent an e-mail to Spartan voicing my concern - it went unanswered (as did all of the other e-mails I sent - they only way to contact them is by phone).

While I realize that businesses must have mark-ups, Spartan's are ridiculously high. High enough to prevent my doing business with them again.
