Food is just OK. This is the place to take someone if they don't like Mexican Food. Bland Bland Bland. Americanized as you can get. Certainly not authentic. Nachos are good, but whose aren't.

Come hungry, leave full...: Joaquin's Mexican Restaurant has some of the best mexican food in Yorba Linda, or anywhere for that matter. The food is good hearty mexican fare with very generous portions. Not like those whimpy health mex places that ruin mexican food by trying to make it all hip and healthy. No no, this is good stick-to-your-ribs eatin' right here. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the large ammouts of food one gets. The service is also very fast. Sometimes even faster than so called "fast food" places. Joaquin's is also one of the very very few places in Yorba Linda that actually has a bar, albeit a small one. However, it is stocked quite nicely with both beer, including a coors light on draft, and hard alcohol and has a TV that usually has some sort of sporting event playing. The only downside to Joaquin's is that, as previosly mentioned, it is not very healthy. Other than that it is a fantastic place to come for a good solid mexican meal.

Joaquin's serves delicious authentic mexican style food at a great price. The service is excellent as well.
