WAY OVERPRICED! They charge crazy amounts for alterations! I also believe they scam brides by ordering sizes bigger than what you ordered and then forcing you to have it altered. Other brides on other websites noticed the same thing! Check out Weddingwire and The Knot! They were a rip off. Beware!

I went to this shop twice and both times had a TERRIBLE experience! The bridal consultants are rude and couldn't care less about making your experience an even decent one! It seems they don't treat you nicely until you put a deposit on a dress and even then it's all about the money your paying without regard to the service they are giving. The first time I went to look for a bridal gown and was rushed in and out of dresses as if I was a waste of the consultants time. The second (what a mistake) I went to look for bridesmaids dresses and ended up leaving after my first bridesmaid tried on a dress because of the lack of respect they had for me as a costumer! I am so glad I didn't buy anything from this store and DO NOT advise anyone to even remotely consider going to this store. Lastly, their price points seemed to be about $30 higher than most other places I went to for the same exact dresses... Not worth it at all.

BEWARE! They are not professionals if they cannot guide, advise or recommend to you or bridesmaids how to make this Special Day Memorable, without any issues. They are only out for the money! THEY DO NOT CARE! Common sense they do not have but will comment to you about whether you have it or not. Nasty individuals who will not have a care in the world if they ruin your SPECIAL DAY! A store like this needs people with compassion and some kind of personality. That the 2 of them do not have. I witnessed this when I was there wth my nieces and I was surprised to see the lack of compassion these 2 women had for the bride and her bridesmaid. I felt so sorry for them because they were stuck now with what they had and the 2 ladies just commented behind there backs and humiliated the customer.

BEWARE ~ FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!

The ladies at Amelia's were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The store carries several designers, including Alfred Angelo. They took very good care of my wedding gown and altered it perfectly. I felt confident in their skills and expertise, and I trusted them completely. The prices are reasonable and the payment schedule is fair. Everyone there is very profession and they really care that you are happy with the results. Maria was an absolute doll to work with! I would gladly go back to them for another formal gown.

To the future brides do not bring any of your business to these thieves. they will take your money and then ask you for more. They will not give you your dress untill you pay more for the alterations you already had paid for. all hidden fees. they can ruin all you wedding plans.
