Howard's Medical Supply is the place to go in Yakima for all of your specialized medical supplies and needs. From wheel chairs to walkers...All CPAP equipment, supplies & etc...they have it all. They have an awesome supply of specialty shoes for diabetics. Over all a very impressive store with very helpful and knowledgable staff.

Howard Medical Supply is the best medical supply facility that I have ever used. We have been going to them for more than 10 years and they are so helpful. They take the time to explain what you are getting and how to use it. Everyone is very helpful, especially with insurance claims and all the paperwork. They make it easy!

The guy at Howard's took care of my father's wheelchair needs real well. It was really hard to get Medicare to cover our power wheelchair but they worked hand-in-hand with our doctor until we had all of the paperwork right. I wish it would have moved a little faster but I understand all the requirement the insurance companies put on the medical industry. It took about four weeks from start to finish to get our fitting to our wheelchair in our house. Howard's has told us that if anything goes wrong or breaks that they offer a full warranty service as well as loaner equipment. We are hoping that we never have to worry about this but know we have a good relationship with Erik and the staff where if this happens they will take care of us.

If only I had read these reviews first. It's clear that im not the only one who's dealings with Heather and Tanner have been most unpleasant. I was at my church group yesterday and met 2 more people whom i wish i had talked to before going there. I went in to purchase a new nebulizer , my insurance covers about 70% and i brought cash to pay for the rest, apparently cash is a problem for them, they argued and talked down to me like i was a child . They basicaly sent me screaming down the road to another buisness. As a buisness owner i can tell you now, the person paying you money is the priority, not the person you have to pay to be there. I tried talking to the manager , who pretty much told me to leave and not come back. I had to sit in my car and cry before i drove away. I've never been treated so rudely and hostile from a place i was trying to give my money too. I'm sure they use good eqiupment, but if you want to be treated like a human bieng , go elsewhere.

they charged my insurance for top of the line items, then gave me the junk they rigged to work. when i tried to explain what happened i was kicked out . sounds like im not the only one whos been mistreated there.

what a place to not go to! unsanitary, unproffesional, and dishonest. the 16th ave yakima store is not worth going to, ever. they are rude and its a shame considering how long i went to the selah pharmacy. never again though, good riddence to bad rubbish. i wouldnt recomend them to anyone for anything.

DO NOT GO TO HOWARDS MEDICAL SUPPLY. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL , INCOMPETANT, AND BEYOND FRUSTRATING. I WENT FOR CPAP SUPPLIES AND A NEW CPAP MACHINE. AFTER 3 AND A HALF WEEKS AND MY DR.S OFFICE SENDING THEM THE PRESCRIPTION 3 TIMES I GOT NOTHING . HEATHER , THE PERSON WHO "HELPED" ME AT HOWARDS SPENT MORE TIME EXPLAINING SHE WAS A LESBIAN THAN ANSWERING QUESTIONS. THEY BLAMED MY DR FOR NOT DOING HIS JOB, BUT I WAS THERE FOR 2 OUT OF THE 3 TIMES NY DR SENT THEM THE INFO. AND THEY STILL HAVENT DONE ANYTHING . THEY ARE HORRIBLE. I WENT TO KEELERS MEDICAL SUPPLY AND GOT EVERYTHING I NEEDED IN 12 MINUTES. YOU DECIDE 3 AND A HALF WEEKS AND NOTHING, OR 12 MINUTES AND DONE.....HOWARDS WONT BE IN BUISNESS LONG WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THAT. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUISNESS. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

I was pleasantly surprised from what I found at Howard's. A group of people who went to the ends of the earth to answer all of my questions. I had to figure out what kind of scooter to purchase and they went over all my options, warranties, would I be covered by insurance, etc. I don't make decisions all that fast but they were patient with me. They have earned my trust.
