Driveway was a complete overhaul with an addition to make it wider. A 1945 house with a downward pitch driveway had a french drain. This is a hole straight down to collect water but goes nowhere. JR himself came out - my first concern was can you fill this in and tar over it so it doesn't sink - with a cavalier attitude and a condescending amount of confidence, He guaranteed it verbally, "oh ya, of course we can, don't worry bout a thing, my guys will take care of you..."

Their "guy's" family or not did not do a professional job. When I questioned how they were filling in the center drain - they dismissed me saying, we got this, we know what we're doing, don't worry it's not going to sink." Of course it's sinking. 6 months later the sealer guy came out I showed him the now 4 inches or more sinking hole in my $1,000 + driveway. He said he could fix it. he had asphalt in a bucket put it in the sink heated it and used his foot to flatten it out. That is not going to stop it from sinking, I said. He said if it continues call JR. It did and I did - JR came out after a month of calling and leaving messages. I showed him the now very ugly roundish hole that has been filled with a different tar so you can see clearly the really ugly patch in the driveway making it VERY unsightly.

After Showing JR he verbally insulted me calling me fanatical, saying "well I can't help you if you're a fanatic, I am not responsible for the earth settling." 100% Hustle. I explained the drain under there, his guy's were haphazard filling in the hole. He refused to repair the problem (cut out the asphalt and repack the sink-hole, then re tar). He offered to put more tar on top of the already ugly unsightly patch. So he lied about being able to fill a hole, he lied about his ganturee, his "guy's" lied that they, "...know what they're doing..." I showed him other areas that were also puddling from being uneven. With a take it or leave it option - his true colors came out. DO NOT USE JR

I have to agree with Rose D. I used J R Paving and got similar results. Driveway looks horrible. They don't honor their warranty. They've been in business all these years and still can't call themselves experts. I can't earn future clients enough. STAY AWAY!!! They yes you to death and then completely under deliver. Chop shop organization.

Stay away!!! Does not do what he says and workmanship is awful to worse. Rude and obnoxious has no respect for customers. Driveway looks terrible!
