LACK of service in the tire department

Don't expect much on the sales floor when it comes to buying tires. You have to really know what size, type and price of the tire that you need... there isn't a sales person to help you with the selection. This inadequate staffing is only half of the battle: getting your tires change is the other half. The guys at the tire service area are in their little world when it comes to servicing the customers. They are extremely slow at their work, taking more than one hour to service a vehicle when the average time is 30 minutes at other tire service establishments.

I was there for 3 hours waiting solely on the bench before they started to work on my tires. I arrived there 15 minutes after opening time at 10 a.m.. Sadly, I was fourth in line according to the counter clerk while there was no one there beside myself. A guy came in at 1:20 p.m. and replaced my tires within 30 minutes; I guess he was a new member.

The cashiers will overcharged you on the tire service, so make sure you know which service is best for your needs. The minimum basic service is $9.50 per tire, which includes mounting, balancing, a new valve stem and some kind of warranty for tire rotation and flat repair. Unfortunately, the batteries are also located in the tire department. Allow 3-4 hours for their tire guys to change your tires.
