I bought a pair of black booties, and the latch on the zipper broke before I even wore them. I took them up there and they would only give me store credit. So I used the store credit for a $40 shirt, and now the material is separating from the stitching when I've only worn it twice. Ridiculous.

Dress Up Boutique does not give refunds and only offers store credit, even with a receipt. I paid for a shirt for my daughter and the next day she decided to take it back. It had never been worn and I paid for it with my Visa debit card. Even with the receipt, they would still only give store credit when we returned it. This policy is not clearly visible in the store, so beware. To make matters worse, the grown lady and two young girls laughed hysterically at my daughter and I as we left the store. So loud, in fact, we could still hear them on the sidewalk. If you like rude salespeople and a no return policy; Dress Up Boutique is for you. If not, steer clear of this place and shop somewhere else. Did I mention we did not get any help from any of the sales clerks when we made the purchase?

Really dislike the return policy of this company. They have to understand that when you're in a hurry you may not have to wait for a fitting room and that you need to bring things back later on! Life also happens and it may take a little while to bring something back, particularly if you do not live close to one of their locations. The staff are also very aloof and mostly just stand behind the counter without engaging with the customers.

This is such a fabulous place ...

This is such a fabulous place to shop at right in the neighborhood. The sales ladies are very helpful and the clothing is very well priced and beautiful. Will definitely be going back again and again.

I just want to express my frus...

I just want to express my frustration with your return policy. First of all, I should have known to read the fine print, so I guess that's my bad. I guess I didn't expect a shady business practice from this little 'family owned' boutique. I have spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars in the Alpharetta location. Of the many items I purchased, there were 2 dresses that, after I got home, decided I didn't love them as much as I originally liked them in the store. I went back to the store in an attempt to EXCHANGE the dresses for something different. I didn't even ask for a refund, just wanted to find something different. I was told that they would not allow me to exchange the dresses, even though the tags were still attached, because it had been over 21 days. The same dresses were still on the racks for full price. The styles had not be marked down. So I am stuck with 2 dresses I don't want, while the exact same style and color dresses are still hanging on the store racks for the same price I paid. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the manager, who basically said she didn't care. She could do nothing. So, I will not shopping at Dress Up again. BUYER BEWARE! I would love to hear back from the owner regarding this transaction and policy, and to hear what they have to say about their customer service, especially a very good customer, who spent a lot of money in the store.

Days later, I heard back from someone. They stated they were going to resolve the issue by doing nothing. They refuse to allow me to even exchange the items I purchased with the tags still attached. They lost a loyal customer over an exchange....not very smart, and it seems they are continuing to treat other customers the same way. Too bad for them. They are losing sales.

UPDATE:

Since my original post on their website, they have removed all of my postings, and they no longer allow anyone to post on their FB page. They stated my position was blasphemous . Blasphemy is the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for a religious deity or the irreverence towards religious or holy persons or things. Apparently they believe themselves to be some kind of god.
